図8は、実施の形態2におけるGWの外観を模式的に示す外観斜視図である。実施の形態2に係るGW201は、略扁平直方体状をなしており、(広面ではない)一の面211に丸穴状のメス型の端子213,213,…及び214を備え、反対面には通信線17が接続されている。図示の例では、信号授受を行うための5つの端子213及び電力供給を行うための1つの端子214が、一の面211に3×2の格子状に配設されている(ただしこれは一例であり、端子数及び端子の配置は図示以外のものであってよい)。
