Definitions
- the present invention relates to a water absorbing pad, and more particularly to a water absorbing pad for cooling and heating a human face, neck, head and the like.
- this type of water-absorbing pad includes one using a water-permeable fabric on the surface or one using a water-impermeable sheet.
- Pads that use permeable fabric need only absorb water during use and are easy to store, but moisture will ooze through the fabric during use, causing skin and clothing to get wet or sticky. End up.
- the pad using the water-impermeable sheet since moisture is absorbed inside the pad during production, the pad must be stored in a heavy and large volume. That is, a pad that can absorb moisture using an impermeable fabric or sheet has not been known.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a water absorbing pad that can absorb moisture when necessary using an impermeable fabric or sheet, and can effectively cool or heat a human face, neck, head, etc. It is to provide.
- a water absorption pad for cooling and heating which is an embodiment of the present invention
- a sheet-shaped water absorbent containing a water-absorbing polymer is sandwiched between a bag made of a water-impermeable fabric or a sheet and closed around a plane. Stitching the impermeable fabric or sheet and the sheet-like water absorbent and dividing it into a plurality of areas in plan view, Moisture is absorbed by the sheet-shaped water absorbent only by the holes formed by stitching stitches in the water-impermeable fabric or sheet, and the capillary phenomenon of the stitch thread that penetrates the sheet-shaped water absorbent, It is characterized by.
- the sheet-like water absorbing body expands with water.
- the stitch stitching portion prevents water absorbed by the water absorption polymer from moving to other areas and adjusts expansion in the thickness direction.
- the water absorbing pad uses an impermeable cloth or sheet on its surface, moisture does not ooze out from the surface and wet the skin or clothing. Moreover, in the expanded state in which water has been absorbed, the plurality of areas expand, and the stitch stitching portion becomes a depressed state and is hidden in the expanded portion as a valley. Water permeates through the perforated holes and stitching threads, but because of the valleys, it does not touch the skin or clothing directly and does not wet the skin or clothing.
- the water absorbing pad is light when not absorbing moisture, and can be folded flat or wound compactly.
- a nonwoven fabric containing a water-absorbing polymer can be suitably used as the sheet-like water absorbent.
- the surface of the water-impermeable fabric or sheet is preferably subjected to water repellent treatment.
- moisture can be absorbed when necessary using an impermeable fabric or sheet, and the human face, neck, head and the like can be effectively cooled or heated.
- the skin and clothing do not get wet or sticky during use.
- FIGS. 1A and 1B are cross-sectional views taken along line XX in FIG. 1A, in which FIG. 1A shows a state before water absorption, and FIG. It is a perspective view which shows the cross section of the stitching
- FIG. 3 shows a water absorbing pad according to a second embodiment of the present invention, in which (A) is a surface view and (B) is a YY sectional view of (A). It is sectional drawing which shows the state after water absorption of the water absorption pad which is 2nd Example.
- the water absorbing pad according to the first embodiment of the present invention has water absorption in a bag body 10 having a flat periphery made of a water-impermeable fabric (surface fabric 10 ⁇ / b> A and back fabric 10 ⁇ / b> B).
- the sheet-like water absorbing body 15 containing a polymer is sandwiched, and the water-impermeable fabrics 10A and 10B and the sheet-like water absorbing body 15 are stitched and sewn with a sewing machine and divided into a plurality of areas in plan view.
- a hook-and-loop fastener 21 is attached to the right end of the front surface (see FIG. 1A), and a hook-and-loop fastener 22 is attached to the left end of the back (see FIG. 1B).
- a perforated portion indicated by a dotted line 31 in FIG. 1 stitches the front surface fabric 10A and the back surface fabric 10B to form the bag body 10.
- a dotted line 32 is a stitch stitch portion, and the fabrics 10A and 10B and the sheet-like water absorbent body 15 are stitched, and an enlarged cross section thereof is shown in FIGS.
- Reference numeral 33 denotes a stitch yarn.
- a nonwoven fabric containing a water absorbing polymer can be suitably used as the sheet-like water absorbing body 15, a nonwoven fabric containing a water absorbing polymer can be suitably used.
- the water-absorbing polymer is a well-known material and can be easily obtained in a state of being contained in a nonwoven fabric.
- the sheet-like water absorption body 15 may be other than a nonwoven fabric.
- the water absorbing pad having the above configuration When the water absorbing pad having the above configuration is immersed in water, the water permeates into the water absorbing polymer by capillary action using the perforated holes and stitch yarns stitched and sewn as a water absorption path. Since the perforated holes and the stitch thread 33 are also in direct contact with the sheet-like water absorbent body 15, the moisture suction effect is great.
- the cooling effect is exhibited.
- the vaporization heat effect that moisture is vaporized from the perforation holes and the stitch yarn 33 also acts synergistically.
- the water absorbing pad is heated in a water absorbing state, it can be used as a pad having a heat retaining effect.
- a water absorption pad naturally returns from the water absorption path to return to the dry state.
- a water absorption pad is substantially flat shape, can be folded lightly and flatly, or can be wound compactly.
- the sheet-like water absorption body 15 can be wound around the human body in a state where the sheet-like water absorption body 15 expands with water and is bent at the stitch stitching portion 32 in the short side direction.
- the stitch stitching portion 32 becomes a water absorption path, prevents water absorbed by the water absorption polymer from moving to other areas, and adjusts expansion in the thickness direction. Since the sheet-like water absorbing body 15 expands in the thickness direction, it is possible to maintain a certain amount of water in the water absorbing pad and maintain a necessary temperature for a certain time. Moreover, in the expanded state which absorbed water, the stitch stitching part 32 will be in a depressed state and will be hidden in the expanded part as a valley. In other words, the stitch stitching portion 32 (water absorption path) is located at the intersection of the X-shaped cross section in a state where each absorbed area is raised.
- the water-absorbing pad can be used without wetting the skin and clothes because the impermeable fabric 10A, 10B is used on the surface, and in order to make the vaporization heat effect good even if impermeable. It preferably has air permeability. Moreover, it is preferable that the surfaces of the water-impermeable fabrics 10A and 10B are subjected to water repellent treatment. Furthermore, the water absorbing pad may be subjected to antibacterial, deodorant or antifouling treatment as a whole.
- the water absorbing pad according to the second embodiment of the present invention can be used as a hot water bottle, and as shown in FIG. 5, in a plan view made of impermeable fabrics (surface fabric 50A and back fabric 50B).
- a sheet-like water absorbing body 55 containing a water-absorbing polymer is sandwiched in a bag body 50 whose periphery is substantially octagonal, and the impermeable fabrics 50A and 50B and the sheet-like water absorbing body 55 are stitched and sewn with a sewing machine. It is divided into a plurality of areas visually.
- a cloth knob 54 is sewn to the left and right sides of the bag body 50.
- a perforated portion indicated by a dotted line 51 stitches the front surface fabric 50A and the back surface fabric 50B to form the bag body 50.
- a dotted line 52 is a stitch stitched portion, and the fabrics 50A and 50B and the sheet-like water absorbent 55 are stitched, and an enlarged cross section thereof is as shown in FIGS.
- the sheet-like water absorber 55 is made of the same material as the sheet-like water absorber 15.
- the water absorption pad (hot water bottle) having the above configuration is immersed in water, so that water permeates the internal water absorption polymer by capillary action using the stitched holes and stitch yarn as a water absorption path. Since the stitch yarn is also in direct contact with the sheet-like water absorbent 55, the moisture suction effect is great.
- FIG. 6 shows a state in which water is absorbed in this way.
- the water-absorbing pad containing water is heated in a microwave oven, it can be used as a hot water bottle with a heat retaining effect.
- the function and effect are the same as described in the first embodiment.
- the water absorption pad naturally emits water vapor from the water absorption path, the inside of the futon is not dried during use as a hot water bottle.
- the knob 54 is heated by the microwave oven, it does not become so hot, and the hot water bottle can be easily taken out from the microwave oven by the knob 54.
- the water absorption pad which concerns on this invention is not limited to the said Example, Of course, it can change variously within the range of the summary.
