- the reflecting member 40 is disposed at a position on the inner side in the radial direction with respect to the light emitting portion 33 and at a position on the distal end side with respect to the reinforcing portion 23, the exposed surface 34a becomes brighter and more sufficient display is possible. It becomes. This is because when the rotary knob 10 is disposed on the operation panel P, the light incident on the inside from the incident surface 31 is projected from the light emitting portion 33 to the inside in the radial direction at the portion protruding from the operation panel P. This is because the light is reflected by the reflective surface 41 of the reflective member 40 that faces it and faces outward in the radial direction.
- the hook portion 36 of the pointer 30 is pressed against the rear end surface portion 13 a of the main body base portion 12, so that the pointer on the front surface 36 a and the rear end surface portion 13 a of the hook portion 36.
- the pointer 30 is more stable with respect to the knob body 11 due to surface contact with the peripheral edge of the insertion hole 15. That is, since the flange portion 36 that extends in a direction orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the direction in which the light emitting portion 33 extends is pressed down in a state of being in surface contact with the rear end surface portion 13 a over the entire circumferential direction of the pointer insertion hole 15, the light emitting portion 33.
- the wobbling on the front end side is suitably suppressed.
- rotary knob 10 of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it is needless to say that various changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.
- the peripheral wall portion 20 is formed in a cylindrical shape having a constant diameter at each position in the direction of the central axis C, but is not limited to this, and the peripheral surface of the truncated cone whose diameter decreases toward the tip.
- the shape of the peripheral wall may be as follows.
- the surrounding wall part 20 does not need to be cylindrical, and may be a polygonal cylinder.
- the exposed surface 34a of the pointer 30 is formed so as to be flush with the outer peripheral surface 24 of the peripheral wall portion 20, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the exposed surface 34a may have a shape in which the center in the width direction of the exposed surface 34a bulges so that a protrusion along the slit S is formed, and a groove along the slit S is formed. The shape where the center of the width direction of the exposed surface 34a was depressed may be sufficient. Even if it is these shapes, sufficient display can be performed because the exposed surface 34a emits light over the entire length of the slit S in the portion of the peripheral wall portion 20 protruding from the front surface of the operation panel P.
- the rotary knob of the present embodiment is a rotary knob that penetrates the panel from the inside and is rotatably arranged, and the main body base that is located inside the panel when the rotary knob is arranged And a cylindrical peripheral wall portion extending from the main body base to the front end side, a knob main body provided with a slit extending from the front end of the peripheral wall portion to the main body base at a specific position in the circumferential direction of the peripheral wall portion, An incident portion having a light incident surface; and a surface of the incident portion that extends along the slit so as to fit into the slit from the incident portion, and light enters the incident portion from the incident surface.
- the slip A pressing member that prevents relative movement of the knob main body and the light guide member along the slit extending direction by being sandwiched along the extending direction, and the light emitting unit is fitted into the slit.
- the light guide member can be stably and sufficiently displayed after the light guide member is attached to the knob main body.
- the display portion formed on the light guide member is sandwiched from the slit width direction using the pair of slit peripheral portions of the knob body.
- the light guide member can be attached to the knob body in a stable state.
- the display unit is sandwiched from both outer sides in the width direction of the slit by a pair of slit peripheral portions, and the sandwiched portion is formed by each slit peripheral portion and a holding portion located inside the slit peripheral portion in the radial direction.
- the movement of the incident portion relative to the main body base in the direction in which the slit extends is restricted by sandwiching a part of the incident portion along the direction in which the slit extends between the main body base and the holding member, thereby Relative movement along the extending direction of the slit with the light guide member is prevented.
- the light guide member is stabilized with respect to the knob body.
- the sandwiched portion is sandwiched on the back side of the peripheral edge of the slit, and when the rotary knob is disposed on the panel, the display portion of the light emitting unit is exposed at the peripheral wall portion of the knob body that protrudes from the front of the panel.
- the surface can be exposed to the outside over the entire length of the slit. Therefore, the rotary knob can perform sufficient display by allowing light to be incident from the incident surface and causing the entire exposed surface to emit light while holding the stable light emitting portion.
- the peripheral wall portion has a reinforcing portion that connects the holding portions across the slit, and the reinforcing portion is provided on the panel when the rotary knob is disposed on the panel. It is preferably formed only in a region on the back side from the front surface.
- the reinforcing portion that connects the holding portions so as to straddle the slit, it is possible to effectively reinforce the knob main body in which the slit is provided in the peripheral wall portion. Moreover, when the rotary knob is arranged so as to penetrate the panel from the inside, the reinforcing portion is formed only in the region on the back side of the front surface of the panel, so that the exposed surface of the display portion emits light. The presence of the reinforcing portion hardly affects the light emission of the exposed surface on the front side of the panel.
- the light emitting portion in a state where the display portion is fitted in the slit at a position radially inward of the peripheral wall portion with respect to the light emitting portion and at a position on the distal end side with respect to the reinforcing portion. It is more preferable to further include a reflection member having a reflection surface that reflects the light from the light-emitting portion opposite to the light-emitting portion.
- the light incident on the inside from the incident surface tends to come out from the light emitting part to the inner side in the radial direction of the peripheral wall part.
- the light is reflected by the reflecting surface of the reflecting member facing the light emitting portion on the inner side in the radial direction and directed toward the outer side in the radial direction, so that the exposed surface becomes brighter and more sufficient display is possible.
- the display portion fits in the slit at a position corresponding to the slit on the end surface opposite to the peripheral wall portion in the main body base, and each slit peripheral portion and the slit peripheral portion
- the light-emitting part can be inserted along the extending direction of the slit so that the sandwiched part fits between the holding part and the light guide member attached to the knob body.
- a through-hole defined by the inner peripheral surface of the shape corresponding to the outer peripheral surface of the light-emitting portion in a state is provided, and the incident portion of the light guide member has a flange portion that extends outward from the periphery of the incident portion.
- the surface on the tip side of the flange is provided with a shape along the peripheral edge of the through-hole on the end surface opposite to the peripheral wall of the main body base, and the pressing member Body base The so pressed towards the opposite end face of the peripheral wall portion of, preferably sandwich the flange portion between said main body base portion in cooperation with the pressing member and the body base.
- the collar portion of the light guide member is pressed against the end surface on the opposite side of the peripheral wall portion of the main body base, so that the front end surface of the collar portion and the main body The peripheral portion of the through hole on the end surface opposite to the peripheral wall portion of the base portion is in surface contact.
- a light guide member becomes more stable with respect to a knob main body.
- the rotary knob according to the present invention is useful for a rotary knob that is rotatably arranged on an operation panel or the like in a vehicle interior. After the light guide member is attached to the knob body, the light guide member is attached to the rotary knob. It is suitable for stabilizing and making the light guide member display sufficiently.
