本発明の第13の態様によると、放電制御装置であって、インバータ回路部に入力される電流又は電圧を平滑化するためのコンデンサと電気的に接続される放電抵抗と、当該放電抵抗と直列に接続されるスイッチング回路から構成される放電回路部と、前記コンデンサに溜まった電荷を前記放電回路部に放電するか否かを制御するための第1パルスを出力するマイクロコンピュータと、前記第1パルスの立ち上がり又は立ち下がり若しくは双方に基づいて、所定パルス幅の第2パルスを生成するパルス生成回路部と、を備え、前記第2パルスの出力に基づいて、前記コンデンサに溜まった電荷を前記放電抵抗に放電することを停止するように前記スイッチング回路が制御される。
また、マイクロコンピュータなどの故障時であっても、パルス生成回路部によって、コンデンサの放電を停止することができ、放電制御の信頼性を向上させることができる。
本発明ではこれらにより、放電制御装置及びそれを用いた電力変換装置における放電制御の信頼性を向上させることができる。
次に、図2を用いてインバータ装置140や142あるいはインバータ装置43の電気回路構成を説明する。尚、図1,図2に示す実施形態では、インバータ装置140や142あるいはインバータ装置43をそれぞれ個別に構成する場合を例に挙げて説明する。インバータ装置140や142あるいはインバータ装置43は同様の構成で同様の作用を為し、同様の機能を有しているので、ここでは、代表例としてインバータ装置140の説明を行う。
以上のように構成される電力変換装置における放電制御回路に関して説明する。

Claims (13)
- 直流電源から供給された直流電力を交流電力に変換し、かつ当該直流電力が導通及び遮断するためのコンタクタを介して供給されるインバータ回路部と、
前記直流電力を平滑化するためのコンデンサと、
前記コンデンサに貯まった電荷を放電するための放電抵抗と、当該放電抵抗に直列接続される放電抵抗用スイッチング素子とから構成され、かつ前記コンデンサと並列に接続される放電回路部と、
前記コンデンサの両端電圧を検出するための電圧検出回路部と、
第1のマイクロコンピュータを備えた前記放電用スイッチング素子のスイッチングを制御するための制御信号を出力する第1放電制御回路と、
前記放電抵抗用スイッチング素子を遮断するための遮断信号を出力する第2放電制御回路と、を備える電力変換装置。 - 請求項1に記載された電力変換装置であって、
前記第1放電制御回路は、前記電圧検出回路部が検出した電圧値、及び外部の上位コントローラから出力される前記コンタクタの開閉信号に基づいて、前記放電用スイッチング素子のスイッチングを制御するための制御信号を出力する電力変換装置。 - 請求項1に記載された電力変換装置であって、
前記第1放電制御回路は、 外部の上位コントローラから出力される放電を開始するための放電信号を受信し、
当該放電信号及び前記電圧値に基づいて、前記放電用スイッチング素子のスイッチングを制御するための制御信号を出力する電力変換装置。 - 請求項1に記載された電力変換装置であって、

前記直流電源からの直流電力が供給され、かつ前記インバータ回路部に当該直流電力を供給する直流側電源端子と、
前記インバータ回路部から前記交流電力が供給される交流出力端子と、を備え、
前記報知回路は、発光素子で構成され、かつ前記交流出力端子よりも前記直流側電源端子に近い側に配置される電力変換装置。 - インバータ回路部に入力される電流又は電圧を平滑化するためのコンデンサと電気的に接続される放電抵抗と、当該放電抵抗と直列に接続されるスイッチング回路から構成される放電回路部と、
前記コンデンサに溜まった電荷を前記放電回路部に放電するか否かを制御するための第1パルスを出力するマイクロコンピュータと、
前記第1パルスの立ち上がり又は立ち下がり若しくは双方に基づいて、所定パルス幅の第2パルスを生成するパルス生成回路部と、を備え、
前記第2パルスの出力に基づいて、前記コンデンサに溜まった電荷を前記放電抵抗に放電することを停止するように前記スイッチング回路が制御される放電制御装置。
