- the compound needle 5 includes a needle body 6 and a slider 7.
- a hook 6a is formed at the leading end of the needle body 6 so as to be the tip of the needle stem 6b.
- the hook 6a is bent like a bowl and the tip is folded back toward the needle stem 6b.
- An opening is formed between the tip of the hook 6a and the needle stem 6b.
- the slider 7 is accommodated in a groove provided in the needle stem 6b of the needle body 6, and is movable relative to the needle body 6.
- the blade 7a at the tip is divided into two pieces, each having a tongue at the head. 7b is formed.
- the tongue 7b can close the opening between the tip of the hook 6a and the needle stem 6b.
- the stitch 8 is held by the tongue 7b on the delivery side and exceeds the upper edge of the hook 6a at the tooth opening 2. And expand to both sides.
- a sinker 9 is also provided between the knitting needles on both sides of the mouth opening 2.
- the slider 7 on the eye-receiving side stands by without being advanced from the rear upper needle bed 4 b to the tooth mouth 2. Only the needle body 6 is retracted with the hook 6a open. The stitch 8 transferred from the delivery side is captured while the hook 6a on the receipt side is being pulled. The stitch 8 captured by the hook 6a on the eye-receiving side is detached from the upper edge of the tongue 7b on the passing side and remains in the vicinity of the upper edge of the sinker 9. In a state in which the stitch 8 is held by the upper edge of the tongue 7b on the delivery side, a force that spreads the stitch 8 is applied to the knitting yarn.
- the stitch 8 comes off the upper edge of the tongue 7 on the delivery side, a force for pulling down the knitted fabric is applied to the stitch 8. If the knitting yarn has sufficient stretchability and slippage, the size of the stitch 8 is smaller than the state of hanging on the delivery side tongue 7b. If the stitch 8 is small, the hook 6a on the eye receiving side is easily caught in the hook 6a when it is drawn into the rear upper needle bed 4b.
- the stitch 8 may not be reduced and may float near the upper edge of the sinker 9 There is.
- the knitting width is increased by increasing the number of stitches or a turn knitting is performed.
- the stitch 8 When the stitch 8 is in a floating state, it may be hung on the lowering locus 6c at the tip of the hook 6a on the eye-receiving side or may be further lifted than the lowering locus 6c. If the stitch 8 floats above the downward trajectory 6c at the tip of the hook 6a, the stitch 8 cannot be captured in the hook 6a, and the stitch 8 may spill out of the tooth opening 2. If the stitch 8 hits the downward trajectory 6c, the knitting yarn forming the stitch 8 may be broken at the tip of the hook 6a.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a flat knitting machine and a transfer method therefor that can eliminate transfer defects such as spills and break stitches and can perform stable transfer.
- the present invention includes needle beds disposed so as to face each other across the mouth, and each needle bed has a needle main body having a hook at the head and a relative movement with respect to the needle main body to the tip end side of the hook.
- a composite needle having a slider that opens and closes the opening of the needle is arranged side by side as a knitting needle, and the leading portion of the slider is divided into two blades that can advance to the tooth opening rather than the upper edge of the hook so that the hook is sandwiched from both sides.
- a tongue is formed at the leading end of the blade. On the delivery side, the needle advances to the tooth opening from the upper edge of the hook and opens between the tongues.
- Hook advancing means for advancing the hook on the receiving side into the tooth opening and entering between the tongues on the passing side;
- the bottom of the tongue tip is positioned closer to the needle stem side of the needle body than the downward trajectory of the hook tip before the hook on the eye receiving side is pulled and the hook tip reaches the stitch held between the tongues on the delivery side.
- a tongue advancement means for advancing the slider on the receiving side into the tooth mouth, It is a flat knitting machine characterized by including.
- the needle-side slider moves the needle on the needle-side needle body when the tongue tip moves relative to the needle body so as to close the opening on the tip-end side of the hook.
- the distance between the trunk and the tongue tip is once increased and then decreased.
- the compound needle is driven by a cam mounted on a carriage that reciprocates along each needle bed,

- a compound needle having a slider that opens and closes the opening on the side is juxtaposed as a knitting needle, and the leading portion of the slider is divided into two blades that can advance to the tooth opening rather than the upper edge of the hook so as to sandwich the hook from both sides, A tongue is formed at the leading end of each blade.
- the stitches are advanced between the upper edges of the hooks and open to the mouth, and the stitches are held between the delivery side tangs.
- the stitches are held between the tongues at the head part of the slider that advances to the tooth opening and opens between the upper edges of the hooks at the head part of the needle body.
- the hook of the needle body is caused to enter between the tongues on the side of the delivery by hook advancement means.
- the tongue advancement means sinks the stitch at the bottom of the tongue tip before the hook on the eye receiving side is pulled in and the tip of the hook reaches the stitch held between the tongues on the delivery side.
- the stitch can be sunk at least on the needle trunk side of the needle body from the lowering locus of the hook tip, so when the hook is retracted even if the stitch is floating when the hook is inserted between the tongues on the delivery side Therefore, it is possible to eliminate transfer defects such as spills and breaks of stitches and to perform stable transfer.
- the slider on the eye-receiving side moves between the needle stem and the tongue tip of the needle body.
- the interval increases once and then decreases. Since the bottom of the tongue tip floats and sinks with respect to the needle stem, the stitches in a state of floating from the needle stem can be pushed down to the needle stem side. Since the floating of the stitch can be eliminated, when the hook is pulled into the needle bed on the eye receiving side, it can be surely captured in the opening on the hook tip side.
- the stitch held between the tongues on the delivery side at the bottom of the tongue tip of the slider on the eye receiving side is submerged on the needle stem side of the needle body from the downward trajectory of the hook tip on the eye receiving side. . Even if the stitches are lifted from the needle stem, the stitches can be reliably captured in the opening of the descending hook tip, and stable transfer can be performed.

- the slider 7 of the compound needle 5 on the back upper needle bed 4b on the eye receiving side is advanced to the tooth opening 2 before the hook 6a is retracted.
- the tongue 7b starts to advance, and in FIG. 1B, the bottom of the tip of the tongue 7b reaches the position of the stitch 8.
- the tip of the tongue 7b is curved in a direction away from the bottom. If the tongue 7b is further advanced, the bottom of the tip of the tongue 7b is warped along the stitch 8 as shown in FIG.
- the stitch 8 has a sinker loop that stays at the upper edge of the sinker 9 as a swing fulcrum, and the needle loop portion between the sinkers 9 is in the direction toward the hook 6a, that is, the needle stem from the descending locus 6c at the tip of the hook 6a. It is pushed so that it may sink to 6b side.
- the hook 6a is also pulled in the direction of the rear upper needle bed 4b, and the hook 6a is closed at the tip of the tongue 7b. If the hook 6a is closed in this way and then retracted into the rear upper needle bed 4b, the stitch 8 captured in the hook 6a can be reliably received.
- the hook 6a is closed at the tip of the tongue 7b, as shown in Patent Document 2, the distance between the tip of the tongue and the needle stem of the needle body can be once increased and then decreased.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic cam arrangement of the transfer cam 11 mounted on a carriage provided on each needle bed in the flat knitting machine 10 of FIG.
- the compound needle 5 of the front lower needle bed 3a is driven by the front lower cam 13 and the compound needle 5 of the rear upper needle bed 4b is driven by the rear upper cam 14.
- Cams for driving the knitting needles 5 of the rear lower needle bed 4a and the front upper needle bed 3b are the same as the front lower cam 13 and the rear upper cam 14, respectively.
- the transfer cam 11 is symmetric with respect to the center line 11a so that the same operation can be performed even if the traveling direction of the carriage is reversed.
- the front side and the back side of the center line 11a are shown as the first half and the second side as the second half with respect to the traveling direction.
- the front lower cam 13 includes a needle operation cam 20 and a slider operation cam 21.
