- the shape of the OK region is slightly different from that in FIG.
- the engine speed NE is equal to or lower than the sixth predetermined speed NES21 and equal to or higher than the seventh predetermined speed NES22
- a THS map set according to the engine speed NE and the crank angle CA is searched.
- the target opening THCMD is set to the first opening THS1 or the second opening THS2. This embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except for the points described below.
- FIG. 15 is a flowchart of stop position control in the present embodiment.
- FIG. 15 is obtained by deleting steps S14 and S16 of FIG. 8 and replacing steps S13 and S15 with steps S31 and S32, respectively.
- step S31 it is determined whether or not the engine speed NE is equal to or lower than the sixth predetermined speed NES21 and equal to or higher than the seventh predetermined speed NES22. If the answer is negative (NO), the processing is immediately terminated. If the answer is affirmative (YES), the THS map shown in FIG. 16 is searched according to the engine speed NE and the crank angle CA to set the opening degree. THS is determined, and the target opening THCMD is set to the set opening THS (step S32).
- the THS map corresponds to an OK region corresponding to the first opening THS1 and an OK region corresponding to the second opening THS2 in the region surrounded by a thin broken line in FIG. 2 opening degree THS2 is set to be selected.
- the predetermined rotational speeds NES21 and NES22 are set such that step S32 is always executed once after the ignition is turned off.
- the sixth and seventh predetermined rotational speeds NES21 and NES22 are as shown in FIG. 14, and the target opening THCMD is set to an appropriate opening in the OK region by the processing of FIG. It is possible to surely avoid the stoppage. Furthermore, since the use range of the OK region can be expanded in the engine speed direction (horizontal axis direction), good stop position control can be performed even when the engine friction changes over time and the OK region moves in the horizontal axis direction. Is possible.
- the set values of the THS map in the present embodiment are the first opening degree THS1 and the second THS2, the OK region may be divided more finely to be three or more.
- the intake air amount control valve is not limited to a throttle valve, and as shown in Patent Document 1, an idle speed control valve provided in a passage that bypasses the throttle valve or a lift amount and a valve opening period are continuously set. It may be configured by an intake valve (and its valve operating mechanism) that can be changed.
- the present invention is applied to the stop position control of the engine that injects fuel into the intake pipe.
- the present invention is also applied to the stop position control of the engine that directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber. Is possible.
- the present invention can also be applied to stop position control of a marine vessel propulsion engine such as an outboard motor having a vertical crankshaft.
- crank angle position sensor 8 includes the cylinder discrimination sensor.
- the cylinder discrimination sensor can be omitted because it can be configured to discriminate the cylinder from the TDC pulse and the CRK pulse. May be.
