Description
そこで、本発明は、コネクタが高密度に配置され、ケーブルが密集している状態であっても基板側コネクタからケーブル側コネクタを容易に抜脱することができる抜脱治具を提供することを目的とする。
なお、上記従来のコネクタ挿脱用装置は、ロック機構を備えたコネクタの挿脱を可能とするものである。しかしながら、ロック機構には種々の形式のものが存在し、上記従来のコネクタ挿脱装置が対象としていない形式のロック機構に対応可能な挿脱治具、抜脱治具が求められる。
抜脱操作を行う際、アーム部材の揺動動作により、係合部をレバー部に係合させ、その状態でアーム部材をスライドさせることによってレバー部を引き出すことができる。これにより、第1の係受部への第1の係合爪の係合、及び第2の係受部への第2の係合爪の係合を解除することができる。この状態からフレーム部材ごと引っ張れば、ケーブル側コネクタの抜脱を行うことができる。抜脱治具は、この一連の動作を容易に行うことを可能とする。
図1は、基板側コネクタ50とケーブル側コネクタ100の斜視図である。図2は、ケーブル側コネクタ100を図1とは異なる側から観た斜視図である。図3は、ケーブル側コネクタ100の内部の斜視図である。図3(A)は第1の係合爪104と第2の係合爪105が閉じた状態を示す図、図3(B)は第1の係合爪104と第2の係合爪105が開いた状態を示す図である。図4は、図3とは異なる側から観たケーブル側コネクタ100の内部の斜視図である。図4(A)は第1の係合爪104と第2の係合爪105が閉じた状態を示す図、図4(B)は第1の係合爪104と第2の係合爪105が開いた状態を示す図である。
第1の橋脚部103aはコネクタ本体101内にスライド可能に挿入されるように延長されている。そして、その先端部に後述する第1の係合爪104が接触する柱状のガイド部103a1が設けられている。このガイド部103a1は、わずかにコネクタ本体101の中心側にオフセットされている。
同様に、第2の橋脚部103bはコネクタ本体101内にスライド可能に挿入されるように延長されている。そして、その先端部に後述する第2の係合爪105が接触する柱状のガイド部103b1が設けられている。このガイド部103b1は、わずかにコネクタ本体101の中心側にオフセットされている。
第1の橋脚部103aの先端部には、さらに、第1の突起部103a2が設けられている。また、第2の橋脚部103bの先端部には、同様に第2の突起部103b2が設けられている。これらの第1の突起部103a2、第2の突起部103b2は、コネクタ本体101の天板に設けられた溝101b、溝101c内に配置される。
このようなコネクタ本体101はケーブル102を有しており、ケーブル102は、コネクタ本体101の背面から延びている。
第1の係合爪104は、先端部に係合部104aが屈曲整形されている。そして、この係合部104aに直線部104bが連設され、この直線部104bに屈曲部104cが連設されている。さらに、この屈曲部104cに取り付け部104dが連設されている。第1の係合爪104は、取り付け部104dがコネクタ本体101に嵌め込まれて取り付けられている。これにより、第1の係合爪104は、取り付け部104dを支点として開閉自在となっている。このような第1の係合爪104は、コネクタ本体101に装着される際に、橋脚部103に設けられたガイド部103a1に接触した状態となっている。図5(A)に説明するようにレバー部103が押し込まれて前進し、ガイド部103a1が第1の係合爪104の直線部104bに接触しているときは、第1の係合爪104は閉じた状態となる。一方、図5(B)に説明するように、レバー部103が引き出され、ガイド部103a1が第1の係合爪104の屈曲部104cに接触しているときは、第1の係合爪104はガイド部103a1に押し拡げられ、図4(B)や、図5(B)における矢示110のように開いた状態となる。
なお、第1の係合爪104と第2の係合爪105とは同一のものである。すなわち、第2の係合爪105に接触したガイド部103b1が前後に移動することにより取り付け部を支点とした第2の係合爪105の開閉動作が実現されている。
しかしながら、ケーブル102が密集している場合にはタグ111まで手が届かないことも想定される。また、ケーブル側コネクタ100毎にタグ111を巻き付ける作業は手間である。
そこで、本実施例の抜脱治具1を用いる。以下に図7乃至図12を参照しつつ抜脱治具1を詳説する。図7は、抜脱治具1の斜視図である。図8は、抜脱治具1の拡散分解図である。図9(A)は抜脱治具1の平面図、図9(B)は抜脱治具1の側面図、図9(C)は図9(A)におけるA-A線断面図である。
抜脱治具1は、図8で説明するようにアーム部材10とフレーム部材30を有する。これらはいずれも板金材によって形成されている。板金材を用いることにより、低コストで抜脱治具1を準備することができる。また、その製造自体も容易に行うことができる。
なお、第1のアーム操作部14の最後端は上方へ向かって折り曲げられており、操作時に作業者の指が掛かりやすいように加工されている。
このような螺子受部40bを第1の軸孔11aと第1のガイド溝32aとに挿通し、螺子部40aと螺合させる。また、螺子受部41bを第2の軸孔12aと第2のガイド溝33aとに挿通し、螺子部41aと螺合させる。これにより、アーム部材10をフレーム部材30に対して揺動及びスライド可能に結合することができる。
ケーブル側コネクタ100を基板側コネクタ50から抜脱する際は、まず、図10(A)、図11(A)、図12(A)で説明するように、係合部13の状態を第1の窓孔部35からの突出量が小さい第1の状態としておく。このような状態とするには、第1のアーム操作部14を親指によって持ち上げるか、第2のアーム操作部15を人指し指等によって持ち上げる動作をすればよい。これにより、アーム部材10の先端側に位置する係合部13が下がり、係合部13は、第1の窓孔部35からの突出量が小さくなる。なお、このとき、アーム部材10は、親指によって第1のアーム操作部14を前方に押し出すことにより前方へスライド移動させておく。
このようなアーム部材10の動作によりレバー部103を引き出し、第1の係合爪104と第1の係受部52との係合を解除するとともに、第2の係合爪105と第2の係受部53との係合を解除する。このとき、フレーム部材30の当接部31はコネクタ本体101の背面に当接し、コネクタ本体101を抑えた状態となっているので、レバー部113のみを引き出すことができる。
なお、第1の係合爪104と第1の係受部52との係合、第2の係合爪105と第2の係受部53との係合が解除された状態のとき、第1の突起部103a2と溝101bは係合状態となる。また、第2の突起部103b2と溝101cは係合状態となる。
これにより、ケーブル側コネクタ100の抜脱が完了する。
この結果、対象とするケーブル側コネクタ100を抜脱するための作業エリアの確保が不要となり、作業時間を短縮することができる。また、余分なケーブル側コネクタ100の抜脱を伴わないので、元の状態に復帰させるときにケーブル側コネクタ100の挿し間違えを起こす危険性が低い。
また、抜脱治具1は、効率よくレバー部103に力を伝え、レバー部103を引き込むことができるため、容易にケーブル側コネクタ100の抜脱を行うことができる。
Claims (9)
- 第1の接続端子と第1の係受部及び第2の係受部を有する基板側コネクタに接続されたケーブル側コネクタであって、前面側に前記第1の接続端子に接続する第2の接続端子が設けられたコネクタ本体と、当該コネクタ本体の背面側に前記基板側コネクタへの着脱方向に往復動可能に設けられたレバー部と、当該レバー部に連動して前記第1の係受部に係合する第1の係合爪及び前記第2の係受部に係合する第2の係合爪を有するケーブル側コネクタを前記基板側コネクタから抜脱するコネクタ抜脱治具において、
第1の軸孔が設けられた第1側板と、当該第1側板と対向配置されるとともに第2の軸孔が設けられた第2側板とを備えるとともに、先端側に前記レバー部に係合される係合部を有するアーム部材と、
先端側に前記コネクタ本体の背面に当接する当接部を有し、前記第1の軸孔に対応させて形成された第1のガイド溝と、前記第2の軸孔に対応させて形成された第2のガイド溝と、前記係合部が出没する第1の窓孔部が形成されたフレーム部材と、
前記第1の軸孔と前記第1のガイド溝とに挿通され、前記アーム部材を前記フレーム部材に対して揺動及びスライド可能に結合する第1の結合部材と、
前記第2の軸孔と前記第2のガイド溝とに挿通され、前記アーム部材を前記フレーム部材に対して揺動及びスライド可能に結合する第2の結合部材と、
を、有することを特徴としたコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記第1のガイド溝及び前記第2のガイド溝は、それぞれ前記基板側コネクタへの着脱方向に延びる長溝として形成され、
前記アーム部材が前記フレーム部材に対して前記第1のガイド溝及び前記第2のガイド溝の長尺方向に往復動可能であることを特徴とした請求項1記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記レバー部は、
それぞれ前記基板側コネクタへの着脱方向に延びる第1の橋脚部と第2の橋脚部と、
当該第1の橋脚部と第2の橋脚部とを結合して前記第1の橋脚部と前記第2橋脚部とともに前記フレーム部材の当接部を収容する空間を形成するとともに、前記アーム部材が有する係合部が係合する橋絡部と、を有し、
前記フレーム部材の当接部は、前記空間に差し込み可能であることを特徴とした請求項1又は2記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記フレーム部材が有する前記当接部は、
前記第1の窓孔部からの前記係合部の突出量が小さい第1の状態において、前記第1の橋脚部と第2の橋脚部と橋絡部とで囲まれて形成された前記空間内に差し込まれるとともに前記コネクタ本体の背面に当接され、
前記アーム部材が有する前記係合部は、
前記第1の窓孔部からの前記係合部の突出量が大きい第2の状態において、前記橋絡部に係合することを特徴とした請求項3記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記アーム部材はさらに、
基端側に段状に形成された第1のアーム操作部を有し、
前記フレーム部材はさらに、
前記アーム部材が揺動することによって前記第1のアーム操作部が突出する第2の窓孔部を有することを特徴とした請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記アーム部材はさらに、下方に前記フレーム部材の底縁から突出することができる第2のアーム操作部を有することを特徴とした請求項5記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。
- 前記第1の結合部材及び第2の結合部材は、
それぞれ、螺子部と螺子受部を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 前記アーム部材及び前記フレーム部材は、
それぞれ、板金材で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタ抜脱治具。 - 第1の接続端子と第1の係受部及び第2の係受部を有する基板側コネクタに接続されたケーブル側コネクタであって、前面側に前記第1の接続端子に接続する第2の接続端子が設けられたコネクタ本体と、当該コネクタ本体の背面側に前記基板側コネクタへの着脱方向に往復動可能に設けられたレバー部と、当該レバー部に連動して前記第1の係受部に係合する第1の係合爪及び前記第2の係受部に係合する第2の係合爪を有するケーブル側コネクタを請求項1記載の抜脱治具を用いて前記基板側コネクタから抜脱するコネクタ抜脱方法であって、
前記係合部の状態を前記第1の窓孔部からの突出量が小さい第1の状態とする工程と、
前記係合部の状態を前記第1の状態に維持しつつ前記フレーム部材を前進させ、前記当接部を前記コネクタ本体の背面に当接させる工程と、
前記当接部を前記コネクタ本体の背面に当接させつつ前記アーム部材を揺動させて前記係合部の状態を前記第1の窓孔部からの突出量が大きい第2の状態とし、前記係合部を前記レバー部に係合させる工程と、
前記係合部を前記レバー部に係合させた状態で前記アーム部材を前記フレーム部材に対して後退させ、前記第1の係合爪と前記第1の係受部との係合を解除するとともに、前記第2の係合爪と前記第2の係受部との係合を解除する工程と、
前記第1の係合爪と前記第1の係受部との係合を解除し、前記第2の係合爪と前記第2の係受部との係合を解除した状態で前記フレーム部材を後退させて、前記第1の接続端子と前記第2の接続端子との接続を解除する工程と、
を有することを特徴としたコネクタ抜脱方法。
