Abstract
Description
精製水59.5重量部中に乳化剤としてショ糖脂肪酸エステル(HLB値:11)0.5重量部を添加し、約60℃で10分間攪拌し溶解させた後、デキストリン(デキストロース当量値:18)40.0重量部を添加し溶解させた。この溶液を50~60℃に調整し、メントール10.125重量部を添加し、溶解させた後、TKホモミキサーを使用して12,000rpmで10分間乳化を行い、スプレー液を調製した。粒子径0.2μmの乳化エマルジョンが生成した。このスプレー液を50~60℃に保温したまま、スプレードライヤー(藤崎電機(株)製スプレードライヤーMDL-050M)に送液し、180℃で噴霧乾燥を行い、所望の香味放出性粒子を得た。この香味放出性粒子の粒度分布をレーザ回折/散乱式粒度分布測定装置(堀場製作所製LA-920)を用いて測定した(粒子の分散媒としてエタノールを使用)。結果を図7に示す。図7からわかるように、4流体ノズル噴霧形式のスプレードライヤーにより得た粒子は、粒子径が小さく(粒子径1.151~44.938μm)、粒度分布もきわめて狭い。また、得られた香味放出性粒子の体積平均径は、9.2879μm(メジアン径は8.2563μm)であった。また、得られた香味放出性粒子の組成は、デキストリン79重量%、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル1重量%およびメントール20重量%であることを分析した。
Claims (9)
- エアロゾル発生部と、前記エアロゾル発生部に付設されたフィルタ部を有し、前記フィルタ部は、それぞれ香味成分を含有する水溶性マトリックスを含む複数の香味放出性粒子を含有し、前記複数の香味放出性粒子は、それぞれ1~100μmの範囲内の粒子径を有し、20μm以下の平均粒子径を示す喫煙物品。
- 前記粒子径が、1~50μmであり、前記平均粒子径が10μm以下である請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 香味放出性粒子が、0μmを超え、50μm以下の粒子径を有する粒子の数が全粒子数の90%以上を占める請求項2に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記水溶性マトリックスが、水溶性ポリマーから構成される請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記水溶性ポリマーが、デキストリン、ゼラチン、アラビアガム、ポリビニルアルコールおよびカルボキシメチルセルロースからなる群の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種のポリマーである請求項4に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記香味成分が、親水性香味成分である請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 香味成分が、疎水性香味成分であり、各香味放出性粒子が、前記疎水性成分を前記マトリックス中に乳化させる乳化剤をさらに含有する請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記エアロゾル発生部が、燃焼によりエアロゾルを発生する請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記エアロゾル発生部が、燃焼を伴わない加熱によりエアロゾルを発生する請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
