前記画像出力装置は、様々な種類の画像ファイルをそれぞれ復号化する複数のデコーダを備える画像出力装置側情報処理部を具備し、
前記携帯側情報処理部は、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、その後、前記画像出力装置側情報処理部からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させ、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、前記携帯側情報処理部からの画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する。
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記画像ファイル形式を示す情報の送信元へ送信する。
前記携帯側情報処理部は、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、その後、前記画像出力装置からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させる。
前記携帯側情報処理部が、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信する処理と、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部が、前記携帯側情報処理部からの画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する処理と、
前記携帯側情報処理部が、前記画像出力装置側情報処理部からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させる処理とを有する。
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部が、画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記画像ファイル形式を示す情報の送信元へ送信する機能を実現させる。
(第1の実施の形態)
図4は、本発明の画像選択システムの第1の実施の形態を示すブロック図である。
プロジェクタ20の情報処理部21は、IF部25を介して携帯端末10から画像ファイル等を受信し(ステップ12)、受信した画像ファイルを復号化する(ステップ13)。次に、受信したものにサムネイル生成要求が含まれているか否かを確認する(ステップ14)。

図12は、本発明の画像選択システムの第2の実施の形態を示すブロック図である。

- 画像出力装置と、該画像出力装置に出力させる画像を示す画像ファイルを供給する携帯端末とからなり、出力画像の選択を容易とする画像選択システムであって、
前記携帯端末は、
表示部と、
画像ファイルを復号化するデコーダを少なくとも1つ備える携帯側情報処理部と、を具備し、
前記画像出力装置は、様々な種類の画像ファイルをそれぞれ復号化する複数のデコーダを備える画像出力装置側情報処理部を具備し、
前記携帯側情報処理部は、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、その後、前記画像出力装置側情報処理部からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させ、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、前記携帯側情報処理部からの画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する画像選択システム。 - 請求項1に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
前記携帯端末は、画像ファイルを記憶する携帯側記憶部を有し、
前記携帯側情報処理部は、前記携帯側記憶部に記憶されている画像ファイルとともに自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、その後、前記画像出力装置側情報処理部からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させ、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、前記携帯側情報処理部からの前記画像ファイルおよび画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、受信した画像ファイルを復号化して画像を生成し、該生成画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する画像選択システム。 - 請求項2に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
前記画像出力装置は、画像出力部と画像出力装置側記憶部とを有し、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、復号化した画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部に記憶させるとともに、前記画像と前記画像から生成した変換画像ファイル名とを対応づけて記憶し、その後、前記携帯側情報処理部から送信された画像ファイル名を受信すると、該画像ファイル名に基づいて該画像ファイル名に対応づけて記憶されている画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部から取得し、該取得した画像を前記画像出力部に出力させ、
前記携帯端末は、入力部を有し、
前記入力部は、前記表示部に表示されている前記画像出力装置から受信した画像の中から出力画像の選択を受け付け、選択された画像の画像ファイル名を前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信し、
前記携帯側情報処理部は、前記入力部から送信された画像ファイル名を受信すると、受信した画像ファイル名と、画像出力の指示とを前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信する画像選択システム。 - 請求項3に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
前記携帯側情報処理部は、選択された画像に対する画像処理の種類を前記表示部に表示させ、その後、前記入力部から送信された画像ファイル名と、画像処理の種類とを受信すると、受信した画像ファイル名と、前記画像処理の種類に応じた画像処理の指示とを前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、
前記入力部は、前記表示部に表示されている前記画像出力装置から受信した画像の中から画像処理を行う画像と、画像処理の種類とを選択する入力を受け付け、選択された画像の画像ファイル名と、前記画像処理の種類とを前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信し、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、前記携帯側情報処理部から送信された画像ファイル名と、画像処理の指示とを受信すると、前記画像ファイル名に基づいて該画像ファイル名に対応づけて記憶されている画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部から取得し、該取得した画像に対して受信した画像処理の指示に応じた処理を行い、前記画像処理が完了した画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部に記憶するとともに、前記取得した画像から画像ファイルを生成し、前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する画像選択システム。 - 請求項4に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
前記携帯側情報処理部が行う画像処理の指示は、画像回転の指示である画像選択システム。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部が生成する変換画像ファイルは、サムネイル画像ファイルである画像選択システム。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
画像出力装置がプロジェクタであり、画像出力部が投射部である画像選択システム。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の画像選択システムにおいて、
画像出力装置がプリンタであり、画像出力部が印刷部である画像選択システム。 - 様々な種類の画像ファイルをそれぞれ復号化する複数のデコーダを備える画像出力装置側情報処理部を有する画像出力装置において、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記画像ファイル形式を示す情報の送信元へ送信する画像出力装置。 - 請求項9に記載の画像出力装置において、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、前記画像ファイルおよび画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、受信した画像ファイルを復号化して画像を生成し、該生成画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して画像ファイルおよび画像ファイル形式を示す情報の送信元へ送信する画像選択システム。 - 請求項10に記載の画像出力装置において、
画像出力部と画像出力装置側記憶部とを有し、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部は、復号化した画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部に記憶させるとともに、前記画像と前記画像から生成した変換画像ファイル名とを対応づけて記憶し、その後、画像ファイル名を受信すると、該画像ファイル名に基づいて該画像ファイル名に対応づけて記憶されている画像を前記画像出力装置側記憶部から取得し、該取得した画像を前記画像出力部に出力させる画像出力装置。 - 請求項9乃至11に記載の画像出力装置において、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部が生成する変換画像ファイルは、サムネイル画像ファイルである画像出力装置。 - 請求項9乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の画像出力装置において、
画像出力装置がプロジェクタであり、画像出力部が投射部である画像出力装置。 - 請求項9乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の画像出力装置において、

前記携帯側情報処理部は、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信し、その後、前記画像出力装置からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させる携帯端末。 - 様々な種類の画像ファイルをそれぞれ復号化する複数のデコーダを備える画像出力装置側情報処理部を具備する画像出力装置と、表示部と、画像ファイルを復号化するデコーダを少なくとも1つ備える携帯側情報処理部とを具備し、前記画像出力装置に出力させる画像を示す画像ファイルを供給する携帯端末とからなり、出力画像の選択を容易とする画像選択方法であって、
前記携帯側情報処理部が、自身が復号化可能な画像ファイル形式を示す情報を前記画像出力装置側情報処理部へ送信する処理と、
前記画像出力装置側情報処理部が、前記携帯側情報処理部からの画像ファイル形式を示す情報を受信すると、前記画像出力装置が保持している画像を受信した情報が示す画像ファイル形式に変換した変換画像ファイルを生成して前記携帯側情報処理部へ送信する処理と、
前記携帯側情報処理部が、前記画像出力装置側情報処理部からの画像ファイルを受信して復号化し、前記表示部に表示させる処理とを有する画像選択方法。 - 様々な種類の画像ファイルをそれぞれ復号化する複数のデコーダを備える画像出力装置側情報処理部を有する画像出力装置に、
