Abstract
Description
特許文献2記載の方法は、パラジウムまたは白金担持触媒を用いるため、触媒との分離は容易であり、さらに反応器1回通過あたりの転化率を40~60%とすることで2,3-ジヒドロフランの不均化を抑制し、収率97%以上の高収率を達成している。しかし、原料と生成物の沸点差が小さいため効率的な分離が難しく、20段以上の蒸留塔が必要となり、設備的負担が大きい。また、沸点差が小さいためユーティリティーの使用量も大きくなる。
特許文献3に記載の方法では、2,3-ジヒドロフランが収率98%以上で得られている。しかし、本発明者らが特許文献3の実施例4に準じて反応を行ったところ(本願明細書の比較例2参照)、原料の2,5-ジヒドロフランにわずかな不純物が混入していると、反応が低収率のまま途中で停止するという問題が生じたため、安定して2,3-ジヒドロフランを製造するにはさらなる改良の余地がある。
[1]ロジウム化合物の使用量が少なくて済む上、アリルエーテル系化合物の転化率が高く、且つ高い選択率でビニルエーテル系化合物を製造できる、
[2]たとえアリルエーテル系化合物中に不純物が混入していても、その影響を受けずに高収率でビニルエーテル系化合物を製造できる、
[3]上記触媒の繰り返し使用が可能であり、さらに、第三級アミンの存在下で異性化反応を行うことにより、高沸分の生成が抑制され、触媒の繰り返し使用が有利になる、
ことを見出し、本願発明を完成した。
(1)下記一般式(I)又は(II)
で示されるアリルエーテル系化合物を、水素の存在下並びに単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトおよびロジウム化合物の存在下に異性化することを特徴とする、ビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
(2)前記単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトの反応液中におけるモル濃度を、原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して0.9~15倍とし、且つ水素圧を0.1~0.9MPa(絶対圧)とした後、反応温度60~180℃にて一酸化炭素の不存在下に実施する、上記(1)に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
(3)反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度が0.01~2ミリモル/リットルである、上記(1)または(2)に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
(4)さらに、沸点が100℃以上の第三級アミンの存在下に行う、上記(1)または(2)に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
(5)単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトが、トリス(2-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト、トリス(3-メチル-6-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトおよびトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトの中から選ばれる少なくとも一種である、上記(1)または(2)に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
(6)原料のアリルエーテル系化合物が、不純物としてフラン0.1~7質量%、水0.5~23質量%およびクロトンアルデヒド0.01~5質量%を含む2,5-ジヒドロフランである、上記(1)または(2)に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
R1、R2、R3、R4がそれぞれ独立して表す炭素数1~6のアルキル基としては、例えばメチル基、エチル基、各種プロピル基(各種とは、直鎖およびあらゆる分岐鎖を含むことを示す。以下同様。)、各種ブチル基などが挙げられる。
R2、R3、R4がそれぞれ独立して表す炭素数3~6のアルケニル基としては、例えば2-プロペニル基、2-ブテニル基、3-ブテニル基、2-ペンテニル基、3-ペンテニル基、4-ペンテニル基、2-ヘキセニル基、3-ヘキセニル基、4-ヘキセニル基、5-ヘキセニル基などが挙げられる。該アルケニル基は、副反応の抑制の観点から、1,2位に炭素-炭素二重結合が無いアルケニル基が好ましい。
また、上記一般式(II)において、R3としては、水素原子が好ましい。R4としては、水素原子またはメチル基が好ましい。また、nとしては、1が好ましい。
アリルエーテル系化合物の具体例としては、例えばアリルエチルエーテル、アリルt-ブチルエーテル、2-ブテニルメチルエーテル、2-ペンテニルメチルエーテル、2-ヘキセニルメチルエーテル、2,7-オクタジエニルメチルエーテル、2,5-ジヒドロフラン、3,6-ジヒドロ-2H-ピラン、3,6-ジヒドロ-4-メチル-2H-ピランなどが挙げられる。
R5が表すアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは1~10、より好ましくは1~6、さらに好ましくは3~6である。R5が表すアルキル基の具体例としては、メチル基、エチル基、各種プロピル基、各種ブチル基、各種ヘキシル基、各種オクチル基、各種デシル基などが挙げられる。
R5が表すアリール基の炭素数は、好ましくは6~10である。R5が表すアリール基としては、例えばフェニル基、トリル基などが挙げられる。
R5としては、アルキル基が好ましく、t-ブチル基がより好ましい。
R6~R9がそれぞれ独立して表すアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは1~10、より好ましくは1~6である。R6~R9がそれぞれ独立して表すアルキル基の具体例としては、メチル基、エチル基、各種プロピル基、各種ブチル基、各種ヘキシル基、各種オクチル基、各種デシル基などが挙げられる。
R6~R9は、それぞれ水素原子、メチル基、t-ブチル基が好ましい。
このような単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトをロジウム化合物と合わせて触媒として使用することにより、たとえ原料のアリルエーテル系化合物に不純物が含まれていても、悪影響を受けずに、ロジウム化合物が少量でも、ビニルエーテル系化合物を高収率で製造することが可能となった。
ロジウム化合物は、1種を単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明では、ロジウム化合物の使用量は、反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度に換算して示すと、0.01~2ミリモル/リットルの範囲で実施することが可能であり、必要に応じて0.1~1ミリモル/リットルの範囲で実施することも可能である。
なお、反応液中のモル濃度の測定方法としては特に制限は無く、例えば、反応器に供給したアリルエーテル系化合物、各種生成物および溶媒(総じて、本明細書では「反応液」と称する。)の全体積を1リットルとしたときの単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトやロジウム化合物の物質量を求めればよい。また、反応液中におけるアリルエーテル系化合物中の過酸化物のモル濃度の算出方法は、実施例に記載の方法に従えばよい。
したがって、上記の通り、反応液中の単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトのモル濃度は、原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して0.9~15倍が好ましく、1~10倍がより好ましく、反応速度および触媒安定性の観点から、1~5倍がさらに好ましい。なお、2,5-ジヒドロフラン中の過酸化物の、反応液中におけるモル濃度の算出方法は、実施例に記載の方法に従えばよい。
反応温度は、上記の通り、好ましくは60~180℃であり、より好ましくは90~160℃、さらに好ましくは90~130℃である。この範囲の場合、触媒活性を高く維持でき、高い反応速度となるため好ましい。前記水素圧にした後、該温度にて反応を実施するため、言うまでもないことだが、反応器の昇温後においては、昇温前よりも全圧が上昇している。
第三級アミンを使用する場合、その使用量は、反応液中の酸濃度に対して、通常、好ましくは1~2倍モル、より好ましくは1~1.5倍モルである。なお、酸濃度測定方法は、実施例に記載の方法に従えばよい。
その繰り返し使用する方法としては、例えば、目的とするビニルエーテル系化合物が2,3-ジヒドロフランである場合、反応終了後の混合液に含まれている、2,3-ジヒドロフラン、副生物のテトラヒドロフラン、2-ヒドロキシテトラヒドロフラン、未反応原料である2,5-ジヒドロフラン、元々原料に混入しているフラン、水などを単蒸発により留去し、その残渣としてロジウム化合物、単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトを得た後、該残渣を再度、原料と混合し反応を実施する方法を挙げることができる。
上記ロジウム化合物、単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトを繰り返し4回以上使用することが製造費用の観点から好ましい。
例えば、バッチ方式の場合、アリルエーテル系化合物、ロジウム化合物および単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイト、並びに必要に応じて溶媒および第三級アミンを混合し、水素の存在下(好ましくは前記水素圧下)、好ましくは前記温度に昇温することにより実施できる。
こうして得られるビニルエーテル系化合物、例えば2,3-ジヒドロフランや1,7-オクタジエニルメチルエーテルなどは、医農薬原料、ポリマー原料などの原料や中間体等として有用である。
この場合、原料中に、クロトンアルデヒド、フラン、テトラヒドロフランおよび水などが混入している。2,5-ジヒドロフランとの沸点差の小さいこれら不純物を除去するためには、分離能の高い蒸留塔が必要であり、設備的負担が大きい。また、ユーティリティーの使用量も大きくなる。単蒸留のみの精製では、これら不純物は除去できないが、異性化反応には問題が無いため、本発明では上記方法により得られた残留液を使用することが簡便であり好ましい。
上記残留液中の不純物の含有量は、通常、フランが0.1~7質量%、水が0.5~23質量%、クロトンアルデヒドが0.01~5質量%程度であり、以下、このような不純物を含有した2,5-ジヒドロフランを、「粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン」と称することがある。
また、本発明の原料であるアリルエーテル系化合物のうち、例えば2,7-オクタジエニルメチルエーテルは、特開2005-95850号公報に記載の方法により得ることができる。
また、各例において、反応終了液中の水以外の各成分の濃度は、ガスクロマトグラフィーにより測定し、水の濃度はカールフィッシャー法により測定した。
以下に、ガスクロマトグラフィー分析条件、カールフィッシャー法水分測定法、過酸化物価測定法を示す。

過酸化物価測定法としては、「新実験化学講座15、酸化と還元[1-2](日本化学会編)、p.685、第12行目の[定量法A](2)」に記載の方法に準じた以下の方法を用いた。
酢酸を10質量%含む2-プロパノール(25~30ml)に、ヨウ化カリウムを飽和した2-プロパノール10mlと粗2,5-DHF 1~4gを溶解した。5分間以上加熱還流後、室温に冷却し、水5mlを加えてから0.01Nチオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液で滴定した。
過酸化物価[meq/kg]=10×A×F/W
(A:0.01Nチオ硫酸ナトリウムの滴定量、F:0.01Nチオ硫酸ナトリウムのファクター、W:試料の質量)
こうして得られた過酸化物価を比重で割ることにより、原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度(mmol/L)を算出する。
転化率および選択率は、ガスクロマトグラフィー分析を行い、エリア%(溶媒を除く)を用いて算出した。具体的には、下記式にて転化率および各選択率を算出している。

選択率=〔サンプリング時の各化合物のエリア%/(仕込み時のアリルエーテル系化合物のエリア%-サンプリング時のアリルエーテル系化合物のエリア%)〕×100
なお、エリア%とは、インテグレーターにより算出された所定成分のピーク面積の、全成分または指定した成分の合計に対する比率(%)を示す。
[酸濃度測定法]
反応液10g程度を精秤し、0.01mol/Lの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を用いて、自動滴定装置「AUT-501」(東亜電波工業株式会社製)による電位差滴定にてpH7~11の変極点を測定し、算出した。
E30N4[商品名、γ-アルミナ(内径2mm、外径5mm、高さ3.8mmのリング状ペレット)、日揮化学株式会社製]34gを含有するテフロン(登録商標)製の袋を、電磁攪拌装置および留出口を備えた内容積1Lの三口フラスコに固定した。該フラスコに蒸留塔[内径25mm×長さ300mm、ヘリパックNO.2(東京特殊金網株式会社製)、理論段数20段]を、そして該蒸留塔の上に水冷式還流装置を設けた。
上記フラスコにシス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオール500ml(540g、6.1mol)を仕込み、窒素雰囲気下、攪拌しながら常圧にて195℃まで昇温させた。2,5-ジヒドロフランおよび低沸点の副生成物(例えばテトラヒドロフラン、水、クロトンアルデヒドなど)を留出温度83~86℃(常圧)を維持するように還流を行い、留出させた。また、フラスコ内の反応混合液の量を500mlに維持するよう、シス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオールを連続的に供給した。反応開始直後の反応混合液中のシス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオールの濃度は99質量%であった。反応を8時間行い、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン[以下、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)と称する。]を753ml得た。
粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)中に含有している各成分を分析したところ、純度93.3質量%、フラン1.8質量%、テトラヒドロフラン0.4質量%、クロトンアルデヒド0.5質量%、水4.0質量%、過酸化物濃度0.1mmol/L以下(過酸化物価0.1meq/kg以下)であった。
反応温度を203℃にする以外、製造例1と同様に反応を行った。2,5-ジヒドロフランおよび低沸点の副生成物(例えばテトラヒドロフラン、水、クロトンアルデヒドなど)を留出温度93~96℃(常圧)を維持するように還流を行い、留出させた。本反応を5時間行い、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン[以下、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(2)と称する。]を835ml得た。
粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(2)中に含有している各成分を分析したところ、純度85.1質量%、フラン2.2質量%、テトラヒドロフラン1.0質量%、クロトンアルデヒド1.1質量%、水9.5質量%、過酸化物濃度1.14mmol/L(過酸化物価1.2meq/kg)であった。
SUS304製の直径25.4mm×長さ2000mmサイズの配管を40本並列に溶接した直径600mmの熱交換器に、E30N4[商品名、γ-アルミナ(内径2mm、外径5mm、高さ3.8mmのリング状ペレット)、日揮化学株式会社製]17kgを充填した。熱交換器は配管を用いて蒸留塔(高さ18.87m、塔径300mm、テクノパックA4(三井物産株式会社製)充填塔、理論段数20段)と、循環ポンプ(最大吐出量30m3/時、帝国ポンプ株式会社製)に接続した。そして該蒸留塔の上部に凝縮用の熱交換器(伝熱面積5m2)を設けた。
上記熱交換器と蒸留塔下層部に200Lのシス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオール(240kg、2727mol)を仕込み、窒素雰囲気下、循環ポンプを用いて15m3/時で熱交換器と蒸留塔下層部を循環させながら、常圧にて195℃に昇温した。2,5-ジヒドロフランおよび低沸点の副生成物(例えばテトラヒドロフラン、水、クロトンアルデヒドなど)を留出温度83~86℃(常圧)を維持するように、留出させた。またフラスコ内の反応混合液が200Lを維持するよう、シス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオールを連続的に供給した。反応開始直後の反応混合液中のシス-2-ブテン-1,4-ジオールの濃度は99質量%であった。本反応を28時間行い、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン[以下、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)と称する。]1142kgを得た。
粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)中に含有している各成分を分析したところ、純度85.1質量%、フラン2.2質量%、テトラヒドロフラン1.0質量%、クロトンアルデヒド1.1質量%、水9.5質量%、過酸化物濃度1.14mmol/L(過酸化物価1.2meq/kg)、2,5-ジヒドロフラン2.3mol相当であった。
ガス導入口およびサンプリング口を備えた内容積300mlの電磁攪拌式オートクレーブに、窒素雰囲気下、Rh(acac)(CO)220.6mg(0.08mmol)、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg[0.2mmol;原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度(0.02mmol/L以下)および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度(0.08mmol/L)の合計に対して2~2.5倍]、製造例1で得た2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)200mlを空気に触れないようにして仕込み、次いでオートクレーブ内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPaとした。オートクレーブ内の温度を110℃に上げると、全圧が0.55MPaとなった。この圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら、4時間反応させた。得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィーで分析し、その結果を表1に示した。
実施例1において、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.4MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.7MPa)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.6MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.9MPa)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.11MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.4MPa)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例4において、反応時間を16時間とした以外、実施例4と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、「オートクレーブ内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPa」とする代わりに、「オートクレーブ内の窒素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.55MPa)」とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、水素圧(絶対圧)を1.0MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が1.3MPa)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、「オートクレーブ内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPa」とする代わりに、「オートクレーブ内を水素および一酸化炭素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.2MPaおよび一酸化炭素圧(絶対圧)を0.2MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.7MPa)」とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、「オートクレーブ内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPa」とする代わりに、「オートクレーブ内を水素および一酸化炭素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.23MPaおよび一酸化炭素圧(絶対圧)を0.08MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.6MPa)」とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表1に示す。

一方、常温時の水素圧(絶対圧)が0.1MPa未満の場合(比較例1)、2,5-ジヒドロフランの転化率が大幅に低下し、2,3-ジヒドロフランの選択率も低下した。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)の代わりにトリス(3-メチル-6-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト(3M6BP)107.8mg(0.2mmol)を使用したこと以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)の代わりにトリス(2-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト(2TBP)95.7mg(0.2mmol)を使用したこと以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)の代わりにトリフェニルホスフィン52.4mg(0.2mmol)を使用したこと以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)の代わりにトリフェニルホスファイト62mg(0.2mmol)を使用したこと以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)の代わりにトリス(4-メチルフェニル)ホスファイト70.5mg(0.2mmol)を使用したこと以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表2に示す。

実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.2mmol(原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して2.5倍)の代わりにトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.08mmol(原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して1倍)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例11において、反応時間を6時間とした以外、実施例11と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.2mmolからトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.8mmol(原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して10倍)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例13において、反応時間を6時間とした以外、実施例13と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例13において、粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)200mlを、製造例2で得た粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(2)200mlとした以外、実施例13と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.2mmolをトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト2mmol(原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して25倍)とした以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例16において、反応時間を6時間とした以外、実施例16と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例15において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.8mmolの代わりにトリス(3-メチル-6-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト0.02mmol(原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して0.25倍)とした以外、実施例15と同様にして反応および分析を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例1において、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトを添加しなかったこと以外、実施例1と同様に反応を実施した。この場合、全く反応が進行しなかった(表3参照)。

また、実施例16~18のように、反応液中における単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトのモル濃度が、原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して0.9~15倍の範囲を逸脱した場合、2,5-ジヒドロフランの転化率が低下したが、2,3-ジヒドロフランを高選択率で得ることができた。
また、単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトを添加しない場合(比較例5)、反応は全く進行しない結果となった。
実施例1において、さらにトリオクチルアミン200mg(0.57mmol)を添加した以外、実施例1と同様にして反応および分析を行った。その結果、2,5-ジヒドロフランの転化率が85.3%、2,3-ジヒドロフランの選択率が96.4%、テトラヒドロフランの選択率が2.5%、2-ヒドロキシテトラヒドロフランの選択率が1.1%となり、実施例1と比較して反応速度は若干低下するものの、副生物である2-ヒドロキシテトラヒドロフランの選択率は低減でき、2,3-ジヒドロフランの選択率は向上した。
ガス導入口、サンプリング口および冷却器の先に留出貯槽を備えた内容積140Lであり、攪拌機およびジャケット付反応器(耐圧2.0MPa)に、窒素雰囲気下、Rh(acac)(CO)210.3g(41.8mmol)、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト129g(206mmol)、製造例3で得た粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)30Lおよびトリオクチルアミン80g(228mmol)を空気に触れないようにして仕込み、次いで反応器内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.20MPaとした。反応器内を120℃に昇温したところ、全圧が0.5MPaとなった。その後、フィードポンプにより36L/時にて粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)70Lを1.7時間かけて仕込み、反応器内の圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら、1.8時間反応させた。得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィー分析した結果を表4に示す。
ガスクロマトグラフィー分析により反応が終了したことを確認した後、反応器ジャケットに25℃の水を通すことで混合液を30℃まで冷却した。反応器圧力(0.2MPa)を冷却器、留出貯槽を経由して放圧した後、窒素雰囲気下、反応器を70℃まで加熱し、反応器内の混合液の体積が10Lになるまで単蒸発を行い、目的物を含む低沸点物を留去した。
次に、再度、反応器に粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)30Lを仕込み、次いで反応器内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.20MPa、反応器内温度を120℃まで加温、フィードポンプにより36L/時にて粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(3)60Lを1.7時間かけて仕込み、反応器内の圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら、1.8時間反応させ、得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィー分析した。かかる反応、分析および留去の繰り返しを合計4回実施した。
蒸留残渣の粘度は、全て30℃にて0.1Pa・s以下であり、取り扱いが容易であった。結果を表4に示す。

ガス導入口およびサンプリング口を備えた内容積300mlの電磁攪拌式オートクレーブに、窒素雰囲気下、Rh(acac)(CO)220.6mg(0.08mmol)、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト125.2mg(0.2mmol)、製造例1で生成した粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)200mlを空気に触れないようにして仕込み、次いで水素を流し込んで水素圧(絶対圧)を0.25MPa(110℃に昇温時の全圧が0.55MPa)とした。オートクレーブ内の圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら、4時間反応させた。得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィー分析した結果を表5に示す。
こうして得られた混合液を、リービッヒ冷却管を備えた内容積300mlの3口フラスコに移し、常圧、窒素雰囲気下に70℃まで加熱し、目的物を含む低沸点物を留去して、混合液を30mlにまで濃縮した。得られた触媒を含む濃縮残渣を、再度、上記オートクレーブに移してRh(acac)(CO)2およびトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトとして使用し、前記同様の反応、分析および単蒸発の繰り返しを合計4回実施した。
4回目の反応後の濃縮液の粘度としては30℃にて0.35Pa・sとなり、やや取り扱いが困難となった。得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィーで分析した。結果を表5に示す。

特許文献4に記載の方法に準じて、ガス導入口およびサンプリング口を備えた内容積300mlの電磁攪拌式オートクレーブに、トリフェニルホスフィン100g(382mmol)を添加し、120℃で加熱溶融し、製造例1で得た粗2,5-ジヒドロフラン(1)40g(319mmol)およびHRh(PPh3)3(CO)5g(5.4mmol)を加え、水素を導入して水素圧(絶対圧)0.11MPaに加圧し、120℃にしてから、オートクレーブ内の圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら10時間反応させた。得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィーで分析し、その結果を表6に示す。

ガス導入口およびサンプリング口を備えた内容積300mlの電磁攪拌式オートクレーブに、窒素雰囲気下、Rh(acac)(CO)220.6mg(0.08mmol)、トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト500.8mg[0.8mmol;原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度(0.02mmol/L以下)および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度(0.4mmol/L)の合計に対して10倍]それぞれをトルエン100mlに溶解した後、2,7-オクタジエニルメチルエーテル100mlを空気に触れないようにして仕込んだ。
次いでオートクレーブ内を水素で置換し、水素圧(絶対圧)を0.4MPaとした。オートクレーブ内の温度を120℃に上げると全圧が0.5MPaとなった。この圧力を維持するように水素を供給しながら、1時間反応させ、得られた混合液をガスクロマトグラフィーで分析した。その結果を表7に示す。

Claims (6)
- 前記単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトの反応液中におけるモル濃度を、原料中の過酸化物の反応液中におけるモル濃度および反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度の合計に対して0.9~15倍とし、且つ水素圧を0.1~0.9MPa(絶対圧)とした後、反応温度60~180℃にて一酸化炭素の不存在下に実施する、請求項1に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
- 反応液中におけるロジウム原子のモル濃度が0.01~2ミリモル/リットルである、請求項1または2に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
- さらに、沸点が100℃以上の第三級アミンの存在下に行う、請求項1または2に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
- 単座トリス(o-置換アリール)ホスファイトが、トリス(2-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト、トリス(3-メチル-6-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトおよびトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトの中から選ばれる少なくとも一種である、請求項1または2に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
- 原料のアリルエーテル系化合物が、不純物としてフラン0.1~7質量%、水0.5~23質量%およびクロトンアルデヒド0.01~5質量%を含む2,5-ジヒドロフランである、請求項1または2に記載のビニルエーテル系化合物の製造方法。
