Claims (5)
- 発光ダイオードを光源とする投光器が平面状に複数固定され光を透過させる保護カバーが前記複数の投光器を覆うように一方の板面に固定されている取付基板と、
前記複数の投光器で発生した熱を放熱するために前記取付基板の他方の板面から突出した状態で固定されている複数の板状冷却フィンと、
収納凹部を有し、前記複数の板状冷却フィンが当該収納凹部内及び前記保護カバーが当該収納凹部の開口面側にそれぞれ位置するように前記取付基板が固定されているハウジングとを備え、
前記取付基板は前記ハウジングの内周壁との間に外気取り入れ用空間が生じるように形成され、前記複数の板状冷却フィンは前記外気取り入れ用空間上に突出して当該外気取り入れ用空間から入り込む前記外気によって冷却されるように形成されていると共に、前記ハウジングは前記複数の板状冷却フィンの放熱作用によって暖められた前記外気取り入れ用空間から入り込んだ前記外気を外部に放出するスリットを複数設けていることを特徴とする照明灯。 - 前記複数の板状冷却フィンの前記外気取り入れ用空間内における占有面積は、鳥等の動物が前記ハウジングの前記収納凹部内に前記開口面から入り込めないような大きさであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の照明灯。
- 前記取付基板と前記板状冷却フィンとは、同一の導熱性の材質であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の照明灯。
- 前記ハウジング、前記取付基板及び前記板状冷却フィンは、少なくとも当該ハウジングがマグネシウム合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のうち何れか1項に記載の照明灯。
- 前記スリットを前記ハウジングに設ける位置は、前記発光ダイオードの照射方向に応じて前記複数の板状冷却フィンの放熱作用によって暖められた前記外気が上昇する方向に定められることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のうち何れか1項に記載の照明灯。
