Definitions
- the invention relates to a system for storing and dispensing a liquid cleaning additive for a high-pressure cleaning device, with a device for storing the cleaning additive and a device for the controlled delivery of the cleaning additive for mixing with the cleaning liquid of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the invention also relates to a refilling container for such a system and to a high-pressure cleaning apparatus with such a system.
- a cleaning liquid preferably water
- the high-pressure cleaning device has a drive motor which drives a pump for conveying the cleaning fluid.
- the cleaning liquid can be heated in some high-pressure cleaning devices.
- the high-pressure cleaning devices have a heatable heat exchanger, for example a coiled tube, which is heated by a burner and through which the cleaning fluid is passed.
- the cleaning liquid is admixed with a liquid cleaning additive in the form of a decalcifier in order to counteract the calcification of aggregates of the high-pressure cleaning device, in particular of the heat exchanger.
- liquid cleaning additives in many cases by means of injectors, which are switched into the flow path of the pressurized cleaning liquid and through which the liquid cleaning additive, such as a cleaning chemical, is sucked.
- the liquid cleaning additive is provided from the outside fillable storage tank, which can be removed via a sampling line of the liquid cleaning additive, which is then mixed, for example by means of an injector of the pressurized cleaning liquid.
- Object of the present invention is to develop a system for storing and dispensing a liquid cleaning additive of the type mentioned for a high-pressure cleaning device such that its handling is simplified for the user.
- a system for storing and dispensing a liquid cleaning additive of the generic type according to the invention in that the storage device a fixed to the high-pressure cleaning and an independently operable refill container for filling the intermediate tank, wherein the intermediate tank by means of the dispensing device liquid cleaning additive is removed controlled and wherein the refill container on or in the high-pressure cleaning device can be fixed and fluidly connected to the intermediate tank, wherein at a removal of cleaning additive from the intermediate tank automatically cleaning additive from the refill into the sub-tank flows to maintain a predetermined liquid level in the sub-tank.
- the liquid cleaning additive for example a cleaning chemical or a descaling solution
- the liquid cleaning additive can be filled from a refill container into an intermediate tank.
- the intermediate tank is arranged stationarily on or in the high-pressure cleaning device and by means of the delivery device the liquid cleaning additive can be removed from the intermediate tank in a controlled manner and mixed with the cleaning fluid of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the intermediate tank thus forms a first reservoir for cleaning additive.
- the used refill container forms a second storage tank, because as long as it is not completely empty, it remains on the high-pressure cleaning device to which it can be fixed. It serves the continuous, needs-based refilling of the intermediate tank.
- the intermediate tank can thus have a constant liquid level. This facilitates the controlled removal of cleaning additive from the intermediate tank.
- the volume of the intermediate tank can be kept relatively low, because with the settable on the high-pressure cleaner refill container, which forms an independently manageable unit, the system according to the invention a large volume provided for storage of liquid cleaning additive.
- the intermediate tank may remain filled until the refilling container has been emptied. Thereafter, the refill container can be replaced by the user, and this replacement does not necessarily have to be done already when the refill container is empty.
- the intermediate tank rather provides a type of "buffer volume" which allows the user to operate the high-pressure cleaning device even with the addition of liquid cleaning additive to the cleaning fluid even when the refilling container is already empty. The refill container can thus be completely emptied by the user without the user then immediately having a new refill container at hand.
- the initially filled intermediate tank rather provides a sufficient amount of liquid cleaning additive available, so that even with a deflated refill container for a while a proper operation of the high-pressure cleaner is possible.
- the storage device has a holder with a bottom which comprises a filling opening, via which the intermediate tank can be filled with cleaning additive and which is surrounded by an opening edge and in which a connecting piece is arranged, and if the refilling container comprises an outlet nozzle and is insertable into the holder, wherein the outlet port is placed on the connecting piece to form an inner annular space between the connecting piece and the outlet nozzle and an outer annular space between the outlet nozzle and the opening voltage rand.
- the refill container has an outlet, which can be placed on the connection piece when positioning the refill container on the holder.
- the outlet port of the refill container surrounds the connection port, ie the connection port dips into the outlet port.
- the inner diameter of the outlet nozzle is chosen larger than the outer diameter of the connecting piece, so that forms an inner annular space between the connecting piece and the outlet.
- the outer diameter of the outlet nozzle is set smaller than the inner diameter of the opening edge, so that an outer annular space is formed between the outlet nozzle and the opening edge.
- Both annular spaces are in fluid communication with the intermediate tank via the filling opening. It has been shown that such a configuration allows cleaning additive to flow out of the refilling container evenly and, at the same time, air can flow into the refilling container, specifically until the intermediate tank is completely filled again after a removal of cleaning additive.
- the subsequent flow of liquid cleaning additive from the refill into the intermediate tank takes place here automatically, without a conveyor, such as a pump, must be used.
- the outflow of the cleaning additive according to the amount removed from the intermediate tank takes place under the effect of gravity.
- connection piece forms a cutting edge on its front side facing the refilling container for cutting through a foil or membrane closing off the outlet connection piece of the refilling container.
- the initially filled refill container has a container opening in the form of the outlet nozzle, which is sealed by a film or a membrane.
- the refill container can then be fixed upside down, ie with a vertical downwards directed outlet, to the holder, with the outlet nozzle being placed on the connection piece.
- the connecting piece has a cutting edge on its front side facing the refilling container. This cuts through the film when the outlet nozzle reaches the end of the connection piece.
- the insertion of the refill container into the holder is thus very simple, without any fear that a large amount of liquid cleaning additive flows out of the refill container and contaminates the holder.
- the end face of the connecting piece preferably extends obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the connecting piece. This facilitates the cutting through of the film arranged on the outlet nozzle and moreover has the advantage that the outflow of liquid cleaning additive from the refilling container is simplified. It has been shown that the outflow of the liquid cleaning additive is facilitated by the oblique end face of the connecting piece. This is probably due to the fact that the oblique design of the connecting piece facilitates the exchange of air between the interior of the refilling container and the outside atmosphere. In order to avoid that dirt particles can get to a greater extent in the intermediate tank, it is advantageous if the connecting piece is surrounded by a first sieve. The first screen thus limits the outer annular space, which is provided between the connecting piece and the opening edge of the filling opening.
- the sieve can have, for example, a mesh width of 0.5 to 2 mm, in particular a mesh width of 1 mm.
- the connecting piece comprises a second sieve, that is, if a second sieve is arranged inside the connecting piece or on the end face of the connecting piece.
- the mesh size of this second screen may also be 0.5 mm to 2 mm, in particular, a mesh width of 1 mm may be provided.
- the second sieve is arranged offset in the direction of the refill container to the first sieve.
- the second sieve can be arranged, in particular, on the front side of the connecting piece facing the refilling container, whereas the first sieve can be arranged at the end face of the connecting piece facing away from the refilling container.
- the staggered arrangement of the two screens facilitates the smooth flow of liquid cleaning additive from the refill into the intermediate tank, as below the second screen, that is, within the connecting piece, an air cushion can form from which air bubbles can rise in the refill while simultaneously Liquid cleaning additive can flow out of the refill container via the inner annular space. It is advantageous if an insert is arranged in the holder, which has an insertable into the filling opening first sieve on which the connecting piece is held.
- the insert is preferably releasably connectable to the holder, so that it can be removed for cleaning the holder by the user.
- the insert forms the first sieve and also has the connection piece, which is surrounded by the first sieve in the circumferential direction.
- the connecting piece can have a second sieve. If the sieves are clogged, the entire insert can be easily removed from the holder and then cleaned by the user.
- the insert can be latched with the holder.
- the holder in the region of the filling opening at least a first locking element, in particular a locking receptacle, and the insert may comprise at least a second locking element, in particular a locking projection, which cooperate detent with each other when inserting the insert into the holder.
- the insert is designed trough-like and comprises a refill container facing tub rim, where the refill container can be supported.
- the trough-like design has the advantage that inadvertently emerging from the refill cleaning additive can collect in use. By removing the insert thus unintentionally emerging cleaning additive can be disposed of.
- the use of the refill container facing the tub rim is a support on which the refill can be supported. The refill container can thus be placed on the rim of the insert.
- At the bottom of the holder at least one overflow opening is preferably arranged and the insert has at least one cooperating with the overflow outlet effect. In such an embodiment may inadvertently escape into the insert reaching cleaning additive on the drain opening of the insert and the overflow opening at the bottom of the holder from the holder.
- the drain opening is formed by a sinking into the overflow opening of the bottom of the holder drain nipple.
- the drainage nipple can pass through the overflow opening.
- the storage and dispensing system comprises a holder in the form of a receiving shaft with a shaft wall and a shaft bottom, wherein the filling opening is arranged at the bottom of the shaft and the refill container can be inserted into the receiving shaft with a container opening facing the filling opening, wherein it at least partially applied to the shaft wall.
- the receiving shaft can virtually completely surround the refilling container in the circumferential direction, so that the refilling container does not inadvertently swing back and forth even when the high-pressure cleaning device is vibrated or even protrudes out of the receiving shaft. can slide.
- the refill container can rather be reliably fixed to the high-pressure cleaning device in a simple manner.
- the reliable determination has the additional advantage that during operation of the high-pressure cleaner, an inadvertent outflow of liquid cleaning additive can be avoided from the refill.
- the refill container inserted into the receiving shaft is held immovably in the receiving shaft transversely to the vertical, with the container opening facing downwards.
- the refill container can thus no longer be moved transversely to the vertical in the receiving shaft.
- the refill container form a positive connection with the receiving shaft.
- the receiving shaft comprises a support surface on which the
- Refill can be supported in the vertical direction.
- the support surface makes it possible to specify a defined position for the refill container in the receiving shaft. For this purpose, it is only necessary to insert the refill container in the receiving shaft so that it can be supported on the support surface of the receiving shaft. As a result, movements of the refill container relative to the receiving shaft can be avoided or at least greatly reduced.
- the refilling container widens in the distance to the container opening via a step which can be applied to the support surface of the receiving shaft.
- the support surface is formed in a structurally particularly simple embodiment of the receiving shaft of a free edge of the receiving shaft.
- the refill container inserted into the receiving shaft protrudes partially from the receiving shaft, whereby it rests on the edge of the receiving shaft with a step arranged on the outside.
- the refill container is thus always accessible to the user.
- the refill container forms a handle for gripping the refill container in the region protruding from the receiving shaft, for example a recessed grip or a handle that can be grasped by the user.
- the refill container is surrounded over its entire circumference of the shaft wall of the receiving shaft, wherein it rests at least partially on the shaft wall.
- the shaft wall has a recess into which the refill container inserted into the receiving shaft engages with a lateral extension. This supports the vibration-proof attachment of the refill container in the receiving shaft and also ensures that the refill container in the receiving shaft has a predetermined orientation namely such that engages the lateral extension of the refill container in the recess of the shaft wall.
- the recess may for example be designed as a recess, in particular as a groove-like depression, or as an opening of the shaft wall.
- the lateral extension of the refill container can be recognized by the user from the outside through the recess of the shaft wall is. This makes it easier for the user to control the position of the refill container in the receiving shaft, since the refilling container can be seen through the recess of the shaft wall.
- the recess may for example be made transparent.
- the recess may be formed in the form of an opening of the shaft wall, so that the refill container is directly accessible to the user in the region of the lateral extension.
- the refilling container is designed to be transparent, at least in the area of the lateral extension, because this allows the user to easily recognize the filling level of the refilling container.
- a marking for reading off the fill level is arranged in the region of the lateral extension. This simplifies level control by allowing the user to directly read the level at the mark on the refill container.
- the storage and dispensing system has a dispensing device with the aid of which liquid cleaning additive can be removed in a controlled manner from the intermediate tank in order to mix the cleaning additive with the cleaning fluid of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the dispenser comprises a solenoid valve which is connected to an outlet of the intermediate tank.
- the solenoid valve is preferably clocked controllable, that is, it can be repeatedly opened and closed in a defined manner. With each opening process becomes the intermediate tank taken from a defined amount of liquid cleaning additive.
- the removal of a constant amount of cleaning additive is assisted by the fact that the intermediate tank maintains a constant liquid level, in particular a completely filled state, since with each removal of liquid cleaning additive from the intermediate tank a corresponding amount of cleaning additive can flow from the refill.
- the controlled removal of cleaning additive from the intermediate tank can be done easily by means of a solenoid valve, without additional measuring or conveying devices must be used.
- the drop below a minimum fill level of the intermediate tank can be detected by means of a sensor.
- the user can be indicated visually or acoustically by falling below the minimum level by means of a display element.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of the storage and dispensing system comprises a reading device for non-contact reading of an electrical storage element arranged on the refilling container.
- a reading device for non-contact reading of an electrical storage element arranged on the refilling container.
- Such memory elements are known to those skilled in the form of so-called RFID tags (Radio Frequency Identification Tags).
- Information about the liquid cleaning additive present in the refill container for example its chemical name, can be stored in an electrical storage element of the refill container and / or composition and / or date of manufacture. This information can be read by the reader without contact and then evaluated by a control unit of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the names of the cleaning additives suitable for the particular high-pressure cleaning device can be stored in the control unit, so that the name that has been read out can be compared with the stored designations. If no match can be found, this can be displayed to the user on a display element of the high-pressure cleaning device and, moreover, it can be provided that in this case the delivery device of the storage and delivery system is deactivated. Thus it can be reliably avoided that an unsuitable liquid cleaning additive is used.
- the system has an electrical communication device and a read / write memory is arranged on the refill container, which can be written on and read by the communication device without contact.
- a memory member of the refill container can be read, but the memory member can also be described.
- information about the use of the refill container can be stored in its memory element.
- the service life of the refill container can be detected and stored.
- the amount of liquid cleaning additive removed from the refilling container or remaining therein is stored in the storage member.
- the still available amount of liquid cleaning additive can be determined.
- the invention not only relates to the above-described system for storing and dispensing a liquid cleaning additive, but the invention also relates to a refilling container for such a system.
- the refill container is characterized by the fact that it has a container opening formed by an outlet nozzle, which is tightly closed by a film or membrane when the refilling container is filled, and in that the refilling container has an outlet nozzle pointing vertically downwards while maintaining its tight closure and can be used to form a positive connection in a receiving shaft of the system, wherein the film or membrane can be separated by placing the outlet nozzle on the arranged at the bottom of the receiving shaft connecting piece.
- the refill container according to the invention can be positively inserted into the receiving shaft so that the refill container performs virtually no lateral movements during operation of the high-pressure cleaner, it is rather reliably held in the receiving shaft, and liquid cleaning additive can without the use of delivery units solely due to the effect of gravity from the refill container into the intermediate tank, wherein the inflowing amount of the intermediate tank taken amount corresponds. It can thereby maintain the liquid level in the intermediate tank. In particular, it is ensured by means of the refill container according to the invention that the intermediate tank continuously remains completely filled. As already explained, this facilitates the removal of a controlled amount of liquid cleaning additive from the intermediate tank, without having to use measuring or conveying members, but the removal can take place by means of a solenoid valve.
- the refill container has a container bottom and a container cover, which are integrally connected to each other via a container wall, wherein projecting from the container ceiling of the outlet.
- the outlet nozzle is preferably arranged centrally on the container ceiling.
- the refilling container prefferably be transparent at least in a wall region extending from the container ceiling to the container bottom, because this makes it easier for a user to control the fill level of the refill container.
- the container wall forms a transparent lateral extension.
- the lateral extension gives the user the opportunity to use the refill container with a clear orientation in a receiving slot of the high-pressure cleaner.
- the transparent design of the lateral extension allows an immediate level control. It is advantageous in this case if a mark is arranged in the region of the transparent lateral extension, so that the user can read the fill level of the refill container.
- the refill container tapers conically in the direction of the outlet nozzle.
- a taper of less than 5 ° has been found to be particularly advantageous.

- the refill container and the receiving shaft have a substantially rectangular inner contour.
- a refill container on the outside circumferential step may extend over at least three outer sides of the rectangular refill container. Facing away from the outlet nozzle, a grip area can adjoin the stage at which the user can grasp the refilling container in a simple manner, even if the refilling container is inserted into the receiving shaft of the high-pressure cleaning appliance.
- the grip area may in particular have a recessed grip, which facilitates the gripping of the refill container.
- the inner diameter of the outlet nozzle is in a preferred embodiment, a maximum of 36 mm. It has been found that, with such a dimensioning of the outlet nozzle, the uniform afterflow of liquid siges cleaning additive is ensured from the refill into the sub-tank without the aid of additional conveyors.
- the length of the outlet nozzle is a maximum of 24 mm in a preferred embodiment of the refill container according to the invention. Such a length ensures that when the liquid cleaning additive flows out of the refilling container, air can readily enter the refilling container, so that cleaning additive can continuously flow out to maintain a constant liquid level in the intermediate tank.
- the invention also relates to a high-pressure cleaning device with a pump for conveying a cleaning liquid and with a system for storing and dispensing a liquid cleaning additive of the type described above, wherein the cleaning additive of the cleaning liquid is admixed. It is advantageous in this case if the cleaning additive upstream of the pump, the cleaning liquid can be mixed, that is, the admixture takes place before the cleaning liquid is pressurized.

- the refill container 75 inserted into the receiving shaft 30 is supported in the vertical direction in the region of the container cover 77 by the tub rim 54 of the insert 52. An additional support undergoes the refill 75 in the region of the step 84, which rests against the support surface 38 of the receiving shaft 30.
- the refill container 75 is oriented such that its lateral extension 90 can dive into the opening 50 of the shaft wall 37.
- the transparent region 92 of the refill container 75 is thus easily recognizable by the user, so that he can read off the level of the refill container 75 on the basis of the marking 94.
- the inner diameter of the outlet nozzle 80 is selected such that an inner annular space 96 is formed between the connecting piece 60 and the outlet pipe 80 and that an outer annular space 97 is formed between the outlet pipe 80 and the opening edge 35 of the filler opening 34.
- the outer diameter of the connecting piece is 9 mm to 36 mm, in particular 20 mm.
- the inner diameter of the outlet nozzle 80 is preferably 13 mm to 38 mm, in particular 39 mm.
- the inner diameter of the filling opening 34 is preferably 15 mm to 63 mm, in particular 39 mm.
- the length of the outlet nozzle 80 is preferably 17 mm to 24 mm, in particular 22 mm.
- the refill container 75 receives a liquid cleaning additive, for example a descaling solution. If the first completely filled refill container 75 is inserted into the receiving shaft 30, then cleaning additive can flow from the refill container 75 into the intermediate tank 42. Cleaning additive flows out of the refill container only until the intermediate tank is completely filled. Without additional shut-off elements are required, then interrupts the flow. A further amount of cleaning additive flows out of the refill only when the intermediate tank 42 is removed a corresponding amount.
- the demand-based discharge required by liquid cleaning additive from the refill 75 air exchange is ensured by the provision of the inner annular space 96 and the outer annular space 97.
- the liquid cleaning additive preferably flows out of the refill container 75 via the outer annular space 97, with air simultaneously passing into the refill container 75 via the inner annular space 96.
- second sieve 66 can accumulate air, which can then pass through the second sieve 66 into the refill 75. If the filled intermediate tank 42 is removed by briefly opening the solenoid valve 46 a certain amount of liquid cleaning additive, so flows a corresponding amount from the refill 75 into the intermediate tank 42 so that the intermediate tank 42, as long as there is still liquid cleaning additive in the refill 75, a evenly filled state occupies. This makes it easier to remove a defined amount of liquid cleaning additive by briefly opening it by means of the magnetic valve 46.
- the fill level of the refill container 75 can be read by the user at the marking 94 in the region of the opening 50 of the receiving shaft 30. If there is no cleaning additive left in the refill container 75, the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can nevertheless continue to operate for a certain time with the addition of cleaning additive to the cleaning agent liquid, with the intermediate tank 42 also gradually emptying. If a minimum level in the intermediate tank is reached, this is detected by a level sensor 98, which dips into the intermediate tank 42 and is connected via an electrical sensor line 99 to a control unit of the high-pressure cleaning device 10.
- the Control unit may include a display member to indicate to the user the achievement of the minimum level of the intermediate tank 42.
- the user can thus recognize that now a further admixture of liquid cleaning additive for cleaning fluid is no longer possible. It can then be provided, for example, that the burner of the heated high-pressure cleaning device 10 is turned off in order to avoid calcification thereof. By inserting a new refill container into the receiving shaft 30, the intermediate tank 42 can be filled again, so that proper operation of the high-pressure cleaning device 10 is then possible again.
- the refill container 75 carries below a front-mounted label 103, an RFID tag 101 (Radio Frequency Identification tag) with an electrical storage member which can be read from a outside of the shaft wall 37 of the receiving shaft 30 arranged reading device 102 and also described.

- the reader 102 is connected via a connection line, not shown in the drawing with the control unit of the high-pressure cleaner 10 in connection.
- Information about the properties of the cleaning additive present in the refill container 75, in particular its chemical composition, can be stored in the memory element of the RFID tag. This can thus be detected by the reader 102 and transmitted to the control unit of the high-pressure cleaning device 10.
- Information about the cleaning additives suitable for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can be stored in a memory element of the control unit. This allows the information read from the RFID tag 101 to be read. tions are compared with the information stored in the memory element of the control unit. Only if it is determined that the cleaning additive located in the refill container 75 is suitable for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can a desired amount of cleaning additive be taken from the intermediate tank 42 by means of the magnetic valve 46. If the cleaning additive for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 is not suitable, this is indicated to the user on the display element of the control unit and the solenoid valve 42 remains in its closed state, so that an admixture of the cleaning additive to the cleaning liquid of the high-pressure cleaning device 10 is blocked.
