Abstract

 情報信号記録面内の情報信号領域が、変調された情報データに応じたミラー 上のピットとして形成され、金属合金反射膜によって被覆されており、上記情報信号領域 内に、情報データに応じたピットを部分的に伴わない区間が設けられ、上記ピットの無い それぞれの区間上の金属合金反射膜が、上記情報データに応じて穴空きマークとして形成 される。この場合に、ピットの深さや幅の調整、及び/又は穴空きマークの幅や長さの調 整により、プリピット信号の再生信号振幅レベルと穴空きマーク信号の再生信号振幅レベ ルとが略同一の値として得られることで、波形等価回路による波形歪みやスライスレベル のずれによる二値化信号のばらつきの発生を抑制し、同一の読取装置で信号を安定にかつ 確実に検出できるようにする。
