Abstract

 本発明の目的は、効率よく安定に、高濃度のエチレンを含有する炭化水素原料からプロピレンを製造する方法を提供する。本発明は、50質量%を超えるエチレンを含有する炭化水素原料を、下記(1)~(3)を満たすゼオライト含有触媒と接触転化させてプロピレンを製造する方法を開示する。 (1)5~6.5Åの細孔径を有する中間細孔径ゼオライトを含有し、 (2)該中間細孔径ゼオライトのSiO2/Al2O3モル比が、20~300の範囲であり (3)アンモニア昇温脱離スペクトルにおける高温脱離量から求められる酸量(TPD酸量)が、20~350μmol/g-ゼオライトである。
