Abstract
電気自動車には、パワーユニット(16)のバッテリユニット(10)側の端部を支持して車幅方向に延びる第1ブラケット(23)が設けられる。第1ブラケット(23)は、両端部の一方に設けられた第1連結部(26)と両端部の他方に設けられた第2連結部(26)とで車体に連結され、パワーユニット(16)は第1及び第2連結部(26,26)より車幅方向内側となる少なくとも2つの内側連結部(24)で第1ブラケット(23)に連結される。第1連結部(26)と第1連結部(26)に最も近い内側連結部(24)との間、及び第2連結部(26)と第2連結部(26)に最も近い内側連結部(24)との間に、第1脆弱部(48)がそれぞれ形成される。第1脆弱部(48)は、パワーユニット(16)が搭載される側での衝突時の方が、パワーユニット(16)が搭載されていない側での衝突時よりも小さい衝撃荷重で破断可能である。
