Abstract

外周部(11)に形成された連結部(12)で相互に結合された隣り合うセグメント鉄心片(13)を有し、連結部(12)を折り曲げて隣り合うセグメント鉄心片(13)の側端部(14)を合わせながら、連続した複数のセグメント鉄心片(13)を螺旋状に巻回して積層した積層鉄心(10)において、連結部(12)の半径方向外側には、連結部(12)の折り曲げ時に半径方向外側に形成される半径方向膨出部(18)を積層鉄心(10)の外側円内に収める凹部切欠き(19)が設けられ、連結部(12)の半径方向内側には、連結部(12)の折り曲げ位置を形成する内側切欠き(20)が設けられて、連結部(12)の半径方向の幅を幅狭に形成し、連結部(12)の折り曲げ前の半径方向の幅をセグメント鉄心片(13)の厚みの0.5倍以上5倍以下にする。これによって、連結部(12)の厚み方向の膨出の影響を受けることなく、高効率で高品質の製品を製造可能な積層鉄心(10)及びその製造方法を提供する。
