Abstract

　陽極（３）と、陰極（４）と、陽極（３）と陰極（４）との間に設けられた有機薄膜層（５）と、を備えた有機ＥＬ素子であって、有機薄膜層（５）は、蛍光ホストおよび青色蛍光ドーパントを含む蛍光発光層（５１）と、赤色燐光ホストおよび赤色燐光ドーパントを含む赤色燐光発光層（５２）と、緑色燐光ホストおよび緑色燐光ドーパントを含む緑色燐光発光層（５３）と、を有し、赤色燐光ドーパントは、主として蛍光ホストからの励起三重項エネルギー移動を受けて発光し、緑色燐光ドーパントは、主として緑色燐光発光層における電荷の再結合により発光することを特徴とする。
