Abstract
加速要求時に通常変速モードから加速変速モードへ切り換えて変速制御を行なう車両用無段変速機の変速制御装置において、登坂路等の走行抵抗が大きい場合に運転者の意に反して加速変速モードへ移行して走行性能が損なわれることを防止する。 路面勾配Φが大きい場合には小さい場合に比較して加速変速モードへ切り換わり難くなるように、その路面勾配Φに応じて加速要求判定値PAPLが設定されるため、アクセル操作量PAPが大きくなる登坂路で運転者の意に反して加速変速モードへ切り換えられることが抑制される。これにより、路面勾配Φが小さい平坦路では、運転者の加速要求に応じて加速変速モードへ切り換えられることにより優れた加速フィーリングが得られる一方、路面勾配Φが大きい登坂路で、運転者の意に反して加速変速モードへ切り換えられて十分な駆動力が得られなくなり、登坂性能が損なわれることが防止される。
