Abstract

 本発明のR-Fe-B系希土類焼結磁石は、磁石体の表面から20μm深さの位置の前記R2Fe14B型化合物結晶粒が、外郭部から厚さが1nm以上2μm以下の(RL1-xRHx)2Fe14B(0.2≦x≦0.75)層を有している。ここで、軽希土類元素RLは、NdおよびPrの少なくとも1種であり、重希土類元素RHは、Dy、Ho、およびTbからなる群から選択された少なくとも1種である。
