Abstract

 チューインガム主体と、該チューインガム主体表面を被覆する糖衣層とからなる糖衣チューインガム組成物の糖衣層を形成する糖衣成分としてマルチトールとラクトフェリンとを配合する。更に、チューインガム主体又は糖衣層を形成する成分にデキストラナーゼを配合する。  チューインガム主体を形成した後、該チューインガム主体表面をマルチトールとラクトフェリンとを含有する糖衣成分で被覆して、糖衣層を形成し、糖衣チューインガムを製造する。  本発明の糖衣チューインガム組成物は、マルチトールとラクトフェリンとが糖衣層に含有することによって、ラクトフェリンの口中への咀嚼放出速度が速く、溶出性に優れる上、長期保存安定性に優れ、歯周病菌毒素不活化効果に優れる。本発明の製造方法によれば、上記優れた特性を有する糖衣チューインガムを工業的に有利に得ることができる。
