Abstract

 本発明は、インターレース方式を採用する液晶表示装置に関する。  光の制御方法としてノーマリーブラック型を採用する。ソースドライバは、駆動用映像信号(Sa、Sb)としてソースバスラインに印加されるべき信号であるアナログ電圧信号(da、db)の極性を2水平走査期間毎に反転させる。ゲートドライバは、ゲートバスラインを1水平走査期間ずつ順次に選択的に駆動する。ソースドライバの出力部(黒信号挿入回路)において、アナログ電圧信号(da、db)の極性反転後1水平走査期間だけ経過した時から次にアナログ電圧信号(da、db)が極性反転する時まで、互いに隣接するソースバスライン間を短絡させることにより、黒電圧の書き込みを行う。
