Claims (3)
- 略マトリクス状に配置され各々画素電極および共通電極間に液晶を挟持した複数の液晶画素、前記複数の液晶画素の行に沿って配置される複数の走査線を駆動する走査ドライバ、前記複数の液晶画素の列に沿って配置される複数の信号線を駆動する信号ドライバ、および前記複数の走査線および前記複数の信号線との交差位置近傍に配置され各々対応走査線を介して駆動され対応信号線の電位を対応液晶画素の画素電極に設定する複数の画素スイッチング素子を含む液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルを制御する表示制御回路とを備え、
前記表示制御回路は、電源回路とコントローラとを含み、
前記電源回路は、前記画素スイッチング素子を導通させるゲートオン電源部、前記画素スイッチング素子を非導通にさせるゲートオフ電源部、前記走査ドライバおよび前記信号ドライバ内のデジタル処理を司るロジック系回路に電源電圧を供給するロジック系電源部、前記信号ドライバ内のアナログ処理を司るアナログ系回路に電源電圧を供給するアナログ系電源部とを備え、
前記コントローラは、電源オフ操作に伴い、最初に前記複数の走査線の全てを一緒に駆動させるために前記画素スイッチング素子がオンとなるように前記走査ドライバを制御し、この状態で前記複数の信号線の電位を共通電極の電位に略等しい値となるように1フレーム期間以内に遷移させ、この遷移に要する所定時間の経過を待って前記電源回路のゲートオフ電源部のオフ電圧、次いで前記ゲートオン電源部のオン電圧、アナログ系電源部のアナログ系電源電圧、ロジック系電源部のロジック系電源電圧が順次夫々0ボルトとなるように前記電源回路を制御し、その後に電源を遮断するように構成されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記所定時間は10ms以内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記表示制御回路は前記液晶表示パネルにおいて前記共通電極と前記複数の信号線との間にそれぞれ接続される静電保護抵抗を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
