Abstract

 本発明の重合性化合物は、下記一般式(1)で表されるもので、溶媒溶解性が良好で、配向制御能や光学特性に優れる。 (一般式(1)中、M1及びM2は各々独立して水素原子又はメチル基を表し、X1及びX2は、各々独立して直接結合又は分岐を有してもよい炭素原子数1~10のアルキレン基、アルキレンオキシ基若しくはアルキレンオキシカルボニルオキシ基を表し、X3は分岐を有してもよい炭素原子数1~10のアルキレン基を表し、Y1及びY2はエステル結合等を表し、環A、B、C及びDは2,6-ナフチレン等の環構造を表す。)
