Abstract

　化学強化処理等の付加処理を行わなくとも耐候性に優れ、白ヤケ現象が起りにくく、ガラス転移点が６８０°C以上であり、かつ耐酸性に優れたデータ記憶媒体用基板用ガラスの提供を目的とする。 　質量％表示で、ＳｉＯ２を４７～６０％、Ａｌ２Ｏ３を８～２０％、ＭｇＯを０～８％、ＣａＯを０～６％、ＳｒＯを１～１８％、ＢａＯを０～１３％、ＴｉＯ２を１～６％、ＺｒＯ２を１～５％、Ｎａ２Ｏを２～８％、Ｋ２Ｏを１～１５％含有し、ガラス転移点が６８０°C以上であることを特徴とするデータ記憶媒体用基板ガラス。
