Abstract

 化学強化処理等の付加処理を行わなくとも耐候性に優れ、白ヤケ現象が起りにくく、ガラス転移点が680°C以上であり、かつ耐酸性に優れたデータ記憶媒体用基板用ガラスの提供を目的とする。  質量%表示で、SiO2を47~60%、Al2O3を8~20%、MgOを0~8%、CaOを0~6%、SrOを1~18%、BaOを0~13%、TiO2を1~6%、ZrO2を1~5%、Na2Oを2~8%、K2Oを1~15%含有し、ガラス転移点が680°C以上であることを特徴とするデータ記憶媒体用基板ガラス。
