Abstract
メタン転化率、ベンゼン生成速度、ナフタレン生成速度及びベンゼンとトルエンとキシレンの合計生成速度の活性寿命安定性を向上させる低級炭化水素芳香族化触媒は、担体であるメタロシリケートにモリブデンと銅を担持した後に焼成してなる。芳香族化合物を製造する際に前記触媒を低級炭化水素と炭酸ガスとを含む反応ガスと反応させる。前記触媒を得るにあたり、メタロシリケートからなるゼオライトを、前記ゼオライトの細孔口径よりも大きな分子径であると共に前記ゼオライトのブレーンステッド酸点に選択的に反応するアミノ基と直鎖炭化水素基を有するシラン化合物で修飾処理した後に、モリブデンと銅を担持させるとよい。前記モリブデンはその担持量が焼成後の触媒全体量に対して2~12重量%となると共に前記銅はモリブデンとのモル比Cu:Mo=X:1の比率が0.01~0.8となるように担持するとよい。
