Abstract

 高周波変調信号から抽出した包絡線信号をパルス変調するAD変換器と、AD変換器の出力信号を増幅するスイッチングアンプと、スイッチングアンプの出力信号から高周波ノイズを除去するローパスフィルタと、スイッチングアンプの電源電圧を制御する電圧制御装置と、包絡線が一定な位相変調信号を増幅し、ローパスフィルタの出力を電源とする高周波増幅器とを備える。AD変換器の入力ダイナミックレンジが最も有効に利用できるようにAD変換器に入力する包絡線信号の平均電力を一定な値とする。また、電力増幅器の出力信号の平均電力をスイッチングアンプへ供給する電源電圧によって調整する。
