Abstract

本発明の目的は、衝突形態にかかわらず衝突エネルギを効率よく吸収することができる車両の前部構造を提供することである。本発明の車両の前部構造は、サブフレームの前方角部の内側側面に配設される荷重伝達部材が、フロントフレームに取り付けられる荷重伝達部材メイルと、サイドフレームに取り付けられる荷重伝達部材フィメイルとを有している。フロントフレームに局所荷重が入力される衝突形態では、荷重伝達部材メイルと荷重伝達部材フィメイルとが嵌合されることにより、フロントフレームがサイドフレームに近づく方向に回動することが抑制されるとともに、入力された衝突荷重が荷重伝達部材を介してサイドフレームに伝達される。一方、サイドフレームの軸線上に衝突荷重が入力される衝突形態では、荷重伝達部材メイルと荷重伝達部材フィメイルとが分離され、荷重伝達部材を介した荷重伝達が遮断される。
