Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen mehrflutigen Wärmeübertrager (1), insbesondere Gaskühler, der zumindest zwei von einem Fluid (13) gegenläufig durchströmbare Fluten (2, 3) aufweist, die jeweils eine Gruppe von mehreren parallel zueinander verlaufenden Kanälen (4) mit sandwichartig zwischen den Kanälen (4) platzierten Lamellen (5) umfassen. An einer ersten Stirnseite (1.1) des Wärmeübertragers (1) ist eine zur Strömungsrichtungsumkehr des Fluids (13) vorgesehene Umlenktasche (6) platziert und an einer zweiten gegenüberliegenden Stirnseite (1.2) des Wärmeübertragers (1) sind ein Fluidverteiler (7) für eine erste Flut (2) sowie ein Fluidsammler (8) für eine zweite Flut (3) angeordnet. Erfindungsgemäß sind die eine unterschiedliche Fluidtemperatur aufweisenden benachbarten Kanäle (4.1) der aneinander grenzenden Fluten (2, 3) voneinander thermisch entkoppelt.
