  • the present invention relates to a phosphor mainly composed of an inorganic compound and a method for producing the same. More specifically, the application relates to a lighting device and a light-emitting device for an image display device using the property of the phosphor, that is, the property of emitting fluorescence having a long wavelength of 570 nm to 700 nm.
  • Phosphors are fluorescent display tubes (VFD), field emission displays (FE), and fluorescent display tubes (VFD).
  • D and SED plasma display panel
  • PDP plasma display panel
  • CRT cathode ray tube
  • LED white light emitting diode
  • energy for exciting the phosphor such as vacuum ultraviolet rays, ultraviolet rays, electron beams, blue light, etc. It is excited by an excitation source with high energy and emits visible light.
  • an excitation source with high energy and emits visible light.
  • luminance of the phosphor decreases during long-term use, and there is a need for a phosphor that does not have a decrease in luminance.
  • Sialon phosphor is manufactured by a manufacturing process generally described below. First, silicon nitride (S i 3 N 4 ), aluminum nitride (A 1 N), calcium carbonate (CaC0 3 ), europium oxide (Eu 2 03), are mixed at a predetermined molar ratio, and 1 atmosphere ( 0. IMP a) produced by firing in a hot press method at 1700 ° C. for 1 hour in nitrogen (for example, see Patent Document 1).
  • Patent Documents 3 and 4 include MS i 3 N 5 , M 2 Si 4 N 7 , M 4 Si 6 N 1K M 9 Si as other sialon, nitride, or oxynitride phosphors.
  • Patent Document 5 describes a phosphor in which Ce is activated in Sr 2 Si 5 N 8 or S r Si 7 N 10 crystal.
  • Patent Document 6 includes L xMy : Z (L is a divalent element such as Ca, Sr, or Ba, M is a tetravalent element such as Si or Ge, Z is an activator such as Eu, etc.) It is described that the addition of A1 has the effect of suppressing afterglow.
さらに、「On n ew r a r e— e a r t h d o p e d M— S i— A 1 -O-N ma t e r i a 1 s」 と題する学術文献の第 2章には種々の組成のァ ルカリ金属とケィ素の 3元窒化物、 MXS i yNz: E u (M=C a、 S r、 B a、 Zn ; z = 2/3 x + 4 /3 y) MS i3N5、 M2S i4N7、 M4S i 6N1K M9S i uN23、 Mi6S i 1506N 32、 M13S i is A 1 i2Oi8N36、 MS i 5A 12ON9、 M3S i 5A 1 ONio (ただし、 Mは B a、 Ca、 S r、 または希土類元素) を母体結晶として、 これに Euや C eを付活した蛍光体が記載されており、 これらの中には赤色に発光する蛍光体と 蛍光体を用いた LED照明ュニットが知られている。 S r S i A 123 N2: E u2+と S r 2S i 4A 1 ON7: E u2+が知られている。

Mi3S i 18A 1 i2018N36、 MS i5A 12ΟΝ9 M3S i 5A 1 O Nio (Mは C a、 B a、 S rなど)、 S r S i A 12O3N2: E u2+、 S r 2S i 4A 1 ON7: E u2+や、 非特許文献 2の第 1 1章に記載されている C ai.47Eu0.03S i 9A 13Νΐ6などのサイァロンとはまったく異なる組成および結晶構造を持つ結 晶を母体とする新規な蛍光体である。

また、 C ai-xS rxS i5N8や S r i-xB axS i 5N8 (0<x< 1) など、 2種以上の A元素の混合糸且成も含むことができる。
本発明の無機組成物のなかで、 構成元素である Μと Αと S iと Oと Nとの元素 の比が組成式 MaAbS i cOdNe (ただし、 a + b + c + d + e = l) で表され、
0. 00001 ≤ a ≤ 0. 03 · · · · (1)
0. 14 ≤ b ≤ 0 . 22 (2)
0. 22 ≤ c ≤ 0 . 32 (3)
0. 14 ≤ d ≤ 0 . 22 (4)
MyA2TS i 3O2N4 (0. 0001≤y≤0. 3)
本発明の A元素は、 Mg、 Ca、 S r、 B aから選ばれる 1種または 2種以上 の元素であるが、 中でも S rと B aは特に発光輝度が高い。 本発明 のひとつに S r2S i5N8固溶体と S r 2S i O4からなる S r 2-yS i 3O2N4 : Eu 2+の組成物がある。 S r 2S i 5N8: E u 2+は単独では赤色蛍光体であり、 S r 2S i O4: Eu 2+は単独では緑色蛍光体である。
S r2S i 5N8固溶体と S r2S i〇4からなる組成物の中でも、 S r2S i 5N8 またはその固溶体結晶が S r 2-zS i sOzNs-z ( 0 < z < 1 ) であり、 S r 2S i O4 またはその固溶体結晶が a型 S r2S i〇4と 型 S r2S i 04の混合物であり、 それらの含有量のモル比 (S r2-zS i 5ΟζΝ8-ζ/ (α型 S r2S i〇4+ )8型 S r 2 S i 04)') が 0. 8以上 3以下である蛍光体は特に輝度が高い。
I M P a以上 1 0 O M P a以下の圧力範囲のガス雰囲気が好 ましい。 0 .
