Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zum kontinuierlichen Herstellen eines dünnen Metallbandes, insbesondere eines Warmbandes aus Stahl, unmittelbar aus einer Metallschmelze und mit einer Bandgießdicke < 10 mm nach dem Walzengießverfahren, wobei das gegossene Metallband einer Inline-Dickenreduktion und nachfolgend einer Speichereinrichtung zugeführt wird. Um in einem kontinuierlichen Produktionsprozess, unmittelbar ausgehend von Metallschmelze und bei der geringen Bandgießdicke, ein hochqualitatives, warmgewalztes Metallband mit vergleichbaren Planheitstoleranzen, wie sie derzeit bei der Herstellung von warmgewalzten Metallband aus stranggegossenen Dünnbrammen oder Brammen, bei Gießdicken zwischen 40 und 300 mm, erzielbar sind, zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass am bewegten Metallband eine Planheitsmessung vorgenommen wird und die Messergebnisse dieser Planheitsmessung zur gezielten Beeinflussung der Planheit des Metallbandes herangezogen werden.
