Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système pour détruire une mine localisée. Selon l'invention, pour faire exploser la mine, un véhicule sous-marin sans équipage ou véhicule primaire (11) coopère avec un véhicule sous-marin sans équipage télécommandé ou véhicule secondaire (12) qui comporte une charge explosive. L'objectif de cette invention est de concevoir un procédé qui permet de réduire les frais de dégagement par rapport à un procédé qui fait appel à un véhicule à usage unique, et de réduire la durée du dégagement par rapport à un procédé qui fait appel à un véhicule de dégagement réutilisable. A cet effet, le véhicule primaire (11) et le véhicule secondaire (12) sont utilisés en tant que tandem à fonctionnement autonome, le véhicule secondaire (12) étant télécommandé à partir du véhicule primaire (11). Selon l'invention : le tandem est conduit jusqu'à la mine (33) à partir du véhicule primaire (11), au moyen de données de position, stockées en mémoire, de la mine localisée (33), et à l'aide de données de navigation de bord ; la mine (33) est relocalisée au moyen de capteurs acoustiques et/ou optiques, et ; une fois la mine (33) relocalisée, le véhicule secondaire (12) est positionné au niveau de la mine (33), par commande à distance, et la charge explosive est amorcée à distance.
