Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement for busbar fastening for multiphase switching devices, in particular for contactors, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Busbars in multi-phase electrical switching devices have a connection terminal at their outer end and are connected directly or indirectly with their inner end to a fixed contact piece which comes into and out of connection with a movable contact piece. It is known to busbars in the switchgear housing by pressing or overmolding (DE 19904355 A1), by gluing (DE 10036350 A1), by screwing with a nut thread in the switchgear housing (DE 29604726 U1), in threaded plates (DE 19814410 A1) or in the busbars (DE 3232173 C2), by holding down by means of housing parts provided for this purpose (EP 645792 A1), by embedding (DE 10061394 A1) or by riveting.
- the disadvantages of the known arrangements for busbar fastening are the high technological outlay on equipment, tools and working time for implementing the fastening and the partly impossible, partly only partially possible and partly complex disassembly of the busbars.
- a customer who wants to carry out the replacement of used contacts by new contacts recommended by the manufacturer himself has to loosen and fasten at least six screws with their six securing elements in a three-phase contactor with screw-mounted busbars.
- Gluing the busbars requires pretreatment of the surfaces and curing times. Glued parts involve an increased effort in recycling.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of enabling simple assembly and disassembly of the busbars.
- the object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the independent claim, while advantageous developments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.
- the final fastening as well as the loosening of all busbars on one connection side is carried out with one hand by inserting or pulling out the plug-in comb in or out of the through and receiving bores.
- the switchgear housing cover When the switchgear housing cover is removed, only two simple and quick handles per connection side are required for the tool-free assembly and disassembly of the busbars. Measured using smaller screws and securing elements, the plug-in comb is much easier to handle.
- the plug-in comb can be injection-molded from regenerable material to facilitate recycling.
- the inserted comb made of insulating molding material makes it considerably easier to maintain the required air and creepage distances. This problem plays an increasing role due to the trend towards switching devices with ever smaller dimensions.
- the surface of the connecting web of the plug-in comb can be used in a skilful way to provide instructions to the customer.
- the plug-in combs expediently clamp with their plug-in pins in the through bores and / or are held down by a switchgear housing cover.
- An expedient configuration of the plug-in comb consists in a cylindrical or prismatic design of the plug-in pins, through and receiving bores, for example with a circular or polygonal cross section.
- An advantageous embodiment consists in longitudinally slotted plug pins for producing the non-positive and positive connection between the through and the receiving bores. Chamfering on the free ends of the plug pins facilitates insertion into the through and receiving bores.
- An advantageous embodiment of the plug-in comb consists in providing compensation slots in the connecting web for better tolerance compensation of the distances between the receiving bores.
- a handle-shaped design of the connecting web is advantageous for better handling.
- the busbars are equipped with knobs, as a result of which the busbars come into clamping connection with the guide elements when they are inserted.
- phase dividing walls of the switchgear housing ie the phase dividing intermediate walls
- receiving slots which support the inserted plug-in comb via its connecting web parallel to the connection direction and thus contribute to an increase in the permissible tensile and compressive forces at the connection terminals
- the connecting web provided with compensation slots and the phase partition walls equipped with the receiving slots expediently interlock.
- Figure 1 an embodiment of the mounting arrangement according to the invention with the details essential to the invention of a switching device shown in longitudinal section;
- Figure 2 the arrangement according to the invention in a perspective exploded view;
- Figure 3 the arrangement according to the invention in a perspective composite representation.
- the arrangement for busbar fastening is shown with the parts of a multi-pole switching device 2 which are essential for the illustration of the invention in the form of a three-pole contactor.
- the switching device 2 is surrounded by a switching device housing 4, of which only the upper housing part is shown in the drawing.
- the switchgear housing 4 is closed off at the front by a removable housing cover 6.
- One incoming and one outgoing busbar 8 is defined in the switchgear housing 4 for each current phase.
- Each busbar 8 has at its outer end a terminal 12 which extends into the respective connection space 10 and is provided with a fixed contact piece 14 at its inner end.
- the busbars 8 belonging to a current phase are electrically connected or disconnected in the usual way by a contact bridge (not shown), the fixed contact pieces 14 coming into and out of connection with movable contact pieces attached to the contact bridge.
- groove-shaped guide elements 16 are formed in pairs on each connection side for each current phase in the switchgear housing 4.
- the plate-shaped middle part 18 of the busbars 8 is inserted between the guide elements 16 until it bears against an end face 20 of the guide elements 16 in the mounting position of the busbar 8 shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.
- Every current rail ne 8 has a through hole 22, which in the mounting position coincides with a receiving hole 24 formed in the switchgear housing 4.
- the busbars 8 are provided on the central part 18 with knobs 25 which are pronounced on the edge and which, when the busbars 8 are introduced into the guide elements 16, lead to a clamping effect which is sufficient to prevent the busbars 8 from sliding out of the guide elements during transport during the manufacture of the switching device 2 16 to prevent.
- the fastening arrangement also includes a plug-in comb 26 made of insulating molding material for each connection side.
- the plug-in comb 26 has a round cylindrical plug-in pin 28 for each current phase.
- the plug pins 28 belonging to a connection side are connected to one another via a plate-shaped connecting web 30.
- the spigots 28 protrude in one direction from the connecting web 30.
- the connecting web 30 is equipped with a handle 32, which is opposite the projecting plug 28.
- the plug-in combs 26 are pushed with their plug-in pins 28 through the through bores 22 of the busbars 8 into the receiving bores 24 of the switchgear housing 4.
- the plug pins 28 are designed with insertion chamfers 34 at the free ends.
- the connecting web 30 is equipped with compensation slots 36 between the plug pins 28 which are open at the bottom as shown in the drawing.
- the plug-in combs 26 are additionally held down in their assembly position by the attached housing cover 6.
- the switchgear housing 4 has longitudinal, continuous inner phase partitions 38.
- phase partitions 38 on each connection side as shown in the drawing, upwardly open receiving slots 40 are formed, which are connected to the receiving bores 24 in each case. because it is on one level.
- the receiving slots 40 receive the connecting web 30 of the inserted comb 26.
- the wall parts of the phase dividing walls 38 adjacent to the receiving slots 40 encompass the connecting web 30 on both sides and, at a right angle, on the other hand, the parts of the connecting web 30 adjacent to the compensating slots 36 on both sides of the phase dividing walls 38 ,
- the partially non-positive, partially positive connection of the busbars 8 in the switchgear housing 4 via the interacting elements, middle parts 18 and guide elements 16, on the one hand, and the interacting elements, receiving bores 24, plug pins 28 and through bores 22, on the other hand, enable a simple, secure and again easily detachable fastening arrangement .
- the plug pins 28 are subjected to shear stress, particularly in the case of tensile loads on the connection side.
- the cross section of the plug pins 28 is to be dimensioned in connection with the material to be selected in such a way that it can withstand the expected loads.
- the plug-in comb 26 is largely raised to tolerances due to the geometric design shown.
- the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but also encompasses all embodiments having the same effect in the sense of the invention.
- the invention can also be designed in such a way that the plug pins are simply or crosswise slotted along their longitudinal axis in order to effect an elastic clamping force.
