Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wrist strap for sticks, such as ski, trekking, hiking sticks and the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the loop part can be placed around the wrist and closed by means of push buttons and the connecting part is designed as a strap connected to the band-like loop part, the free end of which is on the top of the stick handle head is releasably attachable.
- the connection part is very unstable due to the design as a strap, so that the hand of the user must remain on the stick handle with a steady grip.
- a pulling element has also been proposed in a hand strap known from DE-U-297 01 6S2, which extends from the locking element over the back of the hand to the loop part.
- the elastic pulling element is detachably connected to the loop part in order to ensure that the user's hand can also be released from the stick handle when the locking element is connected to the stick handle. For the user, this means that in such a case he has to open the pulling element with respect to the loop part with the other hand or close it later, which is naturally not quite easy with gloves.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a wrist strap for sticks of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which the tension element can be omitted and which is nevertheless relatively close to the handle even when the user grip is loose Stick stick and / or remains on the inner surface of the user's hand.
- the measures according to the invention give the connecting part an inherent elastic rigidity which causes the connecting part to remain tight on the palm of the user's hand even when the user hand is loosely gripped on the handle, so that a noticeable connection to the stick handle remains. Nevertheless, it is possible for the user to be able to free his hand from the stick handle even when the wrist strap is attached or connected to the stick handle so that the user can grip other objects with this hand without having to make a separate unbuttoning movement.
- the measures are taken according to the features of claim 3, it is achieved that the user's hand is held not only by gripping the stick handle, but also by the extension resting on an area of the back of the hand.
- the features according to claims four and / or five are expediently provided.
- the extension piece can be of different lengths, either in accordance with the features of claim 6 or those of claim 7 or extend over any length range in between.
- the features according to claim 8 are provided for convenient and comfortable carrying of the stiffening element or the extension piece. This also leads to a relatively simple manufacture of the wrist strap.
- the features according to claim 9 can be provided to further simplify the manufacture.
- the features according to claim 10 are provided in a variant.
- Embodiments of the loop part are taken into account by the features according to claim 15 and / or 16.
- the present invention relates to a stick, such as ski, trekking, hiking stick and the like, which is equipped with a wrist strap described above to achieve the object according to the features of claim 17.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of one on a
- Figure 2 shows a section along the line II-II of Figure 1 and
- FIG. 1 in broken and unfolded representation, the wrist strap of Figure 1, but according to one Variant.
- a hand strap 10 is attached to the upper end 12 of a stick handle 11 of a stick 13, which can be a ski, trekking, hiking stick or the like.
- the hand strap 10 can be inserted into an opening 14 of the stick handle 11 by means of a locking element 15 and can be detachably locked there in a manner not shown in detail.
- the opening 14 in the stick handle 11, into which the locking element 15 provided with a nose 16 can be inserted, is laterally delimited by a movable release button 17 of the stick handle 11, on the bottom side by a handle part 18 and on the top side by a resiliently elastically movable cover part 19.
- the locking element 15 can be released from the stick handle 11 either manually by means of the release button 17 or automatically by means of a safety release in a direction essentially perpendicular to the cover part 19.
- the wrist strap 10 has a loop part 20 which is intended to enclose the hand of a user in the region of the wrist or wrist.
- its outer region 21 which represents an adjustment region, runs in the region of the back of the hand approximately along the wrist and its inner part 22 widened here essentially in the region of the inner surface of the user's hand essentially in the region of the wrist.
- the wrist strap 10 or the loop part 20 can be pushed or brought both over the bare user's hand and over a glove (finger glove or mitten) covering the user's hand.
- the outer region 21 of the loop part 20 has a fastening end 23 provided with an eyelet 24 and a free or adjusting end 26 which can be threaded through the eyelet 24 and returned to itself, for example by means of a Velcro arrangement can be fixed. In this way, the loop part 20 can be adjusted and held in its U length.
- the inner part 22 of the loop part 20 extends between the two belt-like or band-like ends 23 and 26, is integral with them and widened.
- the inner part 22 has an approximately rounded triangular shape, which is such that the inner surface of a user's hand is covered in substantial areas between the area of the wrist area adjoining the wrist area and up to close to the area which passes into the fingers.
- connecting part 29 is designed essentially like a belt or band. Due to the widened design of the inner part 22, the free area of the connecting part 29, which leads to the locking element 15, is relatively short.
- the connecting part 29 can be fastened directly to the relevant rounded distribution area 27 of the inner part 22 or can extend over the width of the inner part 22 extending perpendicular to the ends 23 and 26. It is also possible to design the inner part 22 and the connecting part 29 in one piece.
- the loop part 20 or its connecting part 29 is provided with a flexible stiffening element 30.
- the stiffening element 30 extends over the entire length of the connecting part 29, which here extends from the locking element 15 to the lower edge 28 of the loop part 20 or from the inner part 22 thereof.
- the stiffening element 30 is provided with a pre-shaped curvature with a relatively large radius, such that the stiffening element 30 adjoins the palm of the hand from the area of the wrist along the inner line of the ball of the thumb to the concave transition area between the thumb and index finger, in which transition area the locking element 15 comes to rest, extends.
- the end of the stiffening element 30 facing away from the lower edge 28 can be free and directly connected, for example screwed, to a locking element 15, the locking element 15 projecting perpendicularly from the free end of the stiffening element 30.
- the stiffening element 30 is extended by an extension piece 31 attached in one piece such that the extension piece 31 extends a little way into the area of the back of the hand between the thumb and index finger when the hand strap 10 is attached.
- the extension piece 31 is relatively short and forms a bend of relatively large curvature with the end region of the stiffening elements 30.
- Stiffening element 30 and extension piece 31 are made in one piece from a corresponding flexible, preformed material. In the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, this material is band-like and is formed, for example, by spring steel, band-shaped plastic or the like.
- the one-piece unit consisting of stiffening element 30 and extension piece 31 is not directly but indirectly connected to the locking element 15.
- the stiffening unit 30, 31 is either inserted into a tunnel-shaped leather or textile band, which is attached to the inner part 22 of the loop part 20, for example sewn on or glued or the like, or only covered from the inside by a textile or leather band 32 , which is firmly connected to the inner part 22 of the loop part 20.
- a textile fixing tape 33 to which the stiffening unit 30, 31 covering band 32 sewn on and connected to the locking element 15 with its superimposed central region 34.
- the superimposed or returned central region 34 of the fixing band 33 is inserted into a slot 36 of the locking element 15 and held in the locking element 15 with a fastening element 37 running perpendicularly thereto.
- the fixing band 33 can also run parallel to the entire length of the stiffening element 30 and protrude in the area of the locking element 15, for example, through a slit-shaped opening in the inner part in a superimposed or returned manner, which then forms a tab on which the locking element 15 is attached.
- the fixing strap 33 can then, for example, be sewn to the two ends of the stiffening element 30 with the loop material located there or attached in some other way.
- the stiffening element 30 and the fixing band 33 can also be guided through a band material woven in the manner of a tunnel or hose, which in turn is sewn directly onto the spreading region 27.
- the band 32 covering on one side could then be omitted.
- extension piece 31 of the stiffening unit 30, 31 is made relatively short in the exemplary embodiment shown, it goes without saying that the extension piece 31 can also be longer, so that when the hand strap 10 is applied, it extends a little further over the back of the hand or completely over the back of the hand the closed loop part 20 can run loosely up to the area of the wrist or the wrist.
- the stiffening element 30 or the unit consisting of stiffening element 30 and extension piece 31 can be shaped differently.
- FIG. 3 shows a variant of the design of the stiffening unit 30, 31.
- the stiffening element 30 s is located over the inner part 22 of the End of the loop part 20 is provided with an expansion fork 39 such that its two prongs extend to spaced locations on the lower edge 28 of the loop part 20, so that there is a wider end support on the lower edge 28 and the lateral movement of the stiffening element 30 is thereby reduced.
- the end of the stiffening element 30 facing away from the expansion fork 39 can be designed in the manner shown in FIGS. 1, 2 or also without an extension piece 31.
- a further variant of a stiffening element 30, which is not shown, is given when wire-shaped material, for example in the form of spring steel wire, is used, two parallel wires forming a stiffening element which, according to FIG. 3, run parallel in the end facing the locking element 15 and in the inner part 22 fastened end area are spread.
