The present invention relates to a wrist strap for sticks, such as ski, trekking, hiking sticks and the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.

In such a hand strap for ski poles known from US-A-3,232,632, the loop part can be placed around the wrist and closed by means of push buttons and the connecting part is designed as a strap connected to the band-like loop part, the free end of which is on the top of the stick handle head is releasably attachable. The connection part is very unstable due to the design as a strap, so that the hand of the user must remain on the stick handle with a steady grip. In order to prevent this, a pulling element has also been proposed in a hand strap known from DE-U-297 01 6S2, which extends from the locking element over the back of the hand to the loop part. The elastic pulling element is detachably connected to the loop part in order to ensure that the user's hand can also be released from the stick handle when the locking element is connected to the stick handle. The object of the present invention is to provide a wrist strap for sticks of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which the tension element can be omitted and which is nevertheless relatively close to the handle even when the user grip is loose Stick stick and / or remains on the inner surface of the user's hand.

To solve this problem, the features specified in claim 1 are provided in a wrist strap for sticks of the type mentioned.

The measures according to the invention give the connecting part an inherent elastic rigidity which causes the connecting part to remain tight on the palm of the user's hand even when the user hand is loosely gripped on the handle, so that a noticeable connection to the stick handle remains. Nevertheless, it is possible for the user to be able to free his hand from the stick handle even when the wrist strap is attached or connected to the stick handle so that the user can grip other objects with this hand without having to make a separate unbuttoning movement.

With the features according to claim 2 it is achieved that the elastic stiffening of the connecting part extends over substantially its entire length, which contributes to the optimization of the aforementioned advantages.

If, according to a preferred exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the measures are taken according to the features of claim 3, it is achieved that the user's hand is held not only by gripping the stick handle, but also by the extension resting on an area of the back of the hand. The features according to claims four and / or five are expediently provided.

The extension piece can be of different lengths, either in accordance with the features of claim 6 or those of claim 7 or extend over any length range in between. The features according to claim 8 are provided for convenient and comfortable carrying of the stiffening element or the extension piece. The wrist strap 10 has a loop part 20 which is intended to enclose the hand of a user in the region of the wrist or wrist. The loop part 20 or its connecting part 29 is provided with a flexible stiffening element 30. In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, however, the stiffening element 30 is extended by an extension piece 31 attached in one piece such that the extension piece 31 extends a little way into the area of the back of the hand between the thumb and index finger when the hand strap 10 is attached. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the extension piece 31 is relatively short and forms a bend of relatively large curvature with the end region of the stiffening elements 30. In the illustrated embodiment, the stiffening unit 30, 31 is either inserted into a tunnel-shaped leather or textile band, which is attached to the inner part 22 of the loop part 20, for example sewn on or glued or the like, or only covered from the inside by a textile or leather band 32 , which is firmly connected to the inner part 22 of the loop part 20. The fixing band 33 can also run parallel to the entire length of the stiffening element 30 and protrude in the area of the locking element 15, for example, through a slit-shaped opening in the inner part in a superimposed or returned manner, which then forms a tab on which the locking element 15 is attached. The fixing strap 33 can then, for example, be sewn to the two ends of the stiffening element 30 with the loop material located there or attached in some other way.
