Abstract

An abdominal belt 23 extends between two lateral sections of the abdominal recess 22 and has a hook-and-loop fastener 25 for opening and closing the abdominal belt 23.

The base part 11 is largely formed of very light, elastic, heat-insulating and moisture-repellent, but sweat-dissipating material, especially from a material optimized for skiing.

At the lower left hip portion 21, a loop 24 is attached directly to the base member 11, in particular sewn. The loop 24 is formed of a plastic or rubber-coated fabric tape, so that it is on the one hand very light and flexible flexible, but on the other hand always returns in the unloaded state in an open loop shape, as in FIG. 1 shown. The diameter loop 24 is slightly larger than the width of skis, especially touring skis, so that the skis as a pair, with the treads against each other, just with their ski ends through the Loop 24 can be performed. At the opposite, upper right shoulder portion 26 of the ski vest 10, a hook assembly 28 is fixed to the base member 11, which is composed of a hook 30 and an elastic coupling tape 32, so that the hook 30 pulled away under stretching of the coupling tape 32 by a smaller distance from the base part 11 can be. If necessary, replaceable loops 24 or hooks 30, adapted for certain types of skis, can be provided interchangeably.

FIG. 4 shows a view of the ski vest from behind with a fixed pair of skis 35, the ski ends which is plugged into a rear part of a ski binding 37 through the loop 24, so that the ski binding 37 prevents further slippage of the skis 35. At a portion of the skis 35 between ski binding 37 and ski tip 39 of the hook is 30 um both skis 37 hooked.

As in FIG. 1 As can be seen, loop 24 and hooks 30 are interconnected by a substantially inelastic tie-ring band 40 which annularly orbits the base portion 11, namely along a front portion 42 from loop 24 to hook assembly 28, around right shoulder portion 26 and along one The loop 24 and the coupling strap 32 of the hook assembly 28 are each attached directly or by inelastic connection to the connecting ring band 40, so that they are good in their positions on the hip portion 21 and the shoulder portion 26 against slipping are secured.

The connecting ring band 40 is a textile band sewn onto the base part 11. In the rear surface portion 24 of the ski vest 10, the connecting ring band 40 is sewn between an outer layer 46 and an inner layer 48.

Most of the front and rear surface portions 12, 14 are multi-layered, with pockets between the fabric layers for stowing articles to be carried. A first front pocket 50 is bounded by the seam line of the connecting ring band 40, by the seam line of the abdominal recess 22 and by lateral seam lines 52, 54 and is accessible through a pocket opening 56. The pocket 50 is therefore adapted to the shape of the vest and the course of abdominal recess 22 and connecting ring band 40 that the largest possible proportion of the front surface portion 12 can be used as a bag. The pocket 50 has such a substantially triangular shape that substantially the entire front surface portion 12 below the oblique connecting ring band can be used as a pocket.

The back of the ski vest 10 is substantially completely constructed of an inner layer 48 and an outer layer 46, between which pockets are formed, so that the largest part of the rear surface portion 14 can be used as a bag arrangement.

A first rear pocket 60 extends substantially over the entire back region of the rear surface portion 14 and has a side pocket opening 68 which is closable by a zipper 70. The actuator of the zipper 70 is provided with an extended handle portion 72 which can be easily grasped by the wearer to open or close the first rear pocket 66.

In the region of the lower back, a second rear pocket 74 is arranged on the rear surface portion 14, which has a substantially rectangular shape, with a lateral pocket opening 76 which can be closed by a drawstring 78 to be described in more detail later. In the second rear pocket 74, a substantially cylindrical reinforcing element (not illustrated) is used, which is formed of a reinforced, relatively stiff material, for example of a plastic material. The dimensions of the second rear pocket 74 and the reinforcing element inserted therein are adapted to receive crampons, the reinforcing element preventing sharp edges or tips of crampons damage the vest or cause injury to the wearer.

The pocket opening 76 of the second rear pocket 74 has a circumferential seam 86 in which a cord 88 rotates in a conventional manner. At an opening 90 of the hem 86, the cord 88 is led out as an exposed loop cord 92 from the hem. In a manner known per se, further pulling out of the cord loop 92 from the seam 86 results in a gathering of the seam 86 and thus in closing the pocket opening 76, while releasing or shortening the cord loop 92 extends the seam 86 and thus opens the pocket opening 76 allowed.

A rear pocket opening portion 94 of the pocket opening 76 is fixedly connected by a seam 95 to a fastening tape 96 which extends substantially horizontally along the lower back portion of the rear panel portion 14 and is sewn onto the base member 11 as a substantially inelastic fabric strip. On the pocket opening 76 opposite hip side of the ski vest 10 is the fixing belt 96 on the connecting ring band 40th sewed on (cf. FIG. 1 ).

A front fixing strap 98 is further attached to a front pocket opening portion 97 (located at the opening 90) and extends therefrom forward to a position on the abdominal recess 22 to which the waist belt 23 is attached. Also, the fixing belt 98 is formed of inelastic material and has a known Längenverstellmechansimus 99 (self-locking belt tensioner), with which a length of the fixing belt 98 and thus the tension of the abdominal belt 23 is adjustable.

To temporarily retain a particular adjustment in the length of the cord loop 92, the cord fastener 78 has a cord stopper 104 which is adjustable between a clamping position in which it clamps the cord loop 92 at a position close to the aperture 90, thus further shortening the cord loop 92 and an open position in which the cord stopper 104 releases the cord loop 92 so that it can slide through the cord stopper 104 to permit shortening or withdrawal of the cord loop 92.

The cord stopper 104 includes a cord guide 106, a jaw 108 and a clamping spring, not shown in the figures, which biases the cord guide 106 and the jaws 108 against each other. The jaw 108 is formed in the manner of a sleeve into which the cord guide 106 is inserted. The cord loop 92 passes through an opening 110 of the cord guide 106. The cord guide 106 is fixedly connected to the jaw mouth 108 facing away from the end portion 111 with the front pocket opening portion 97 or with the front fixing strap 98 (see Fig. 3 ) and thus in the pulling direction of an arrow A in Fig. 2 fixed.

In the unactuated, unloaded position is the sleeve of the jaw 108 pushed so far over the cord guide 106 by the force of the clamping spring, that the opening 110 is immersed a little way in the sleeve of the jaw 108 and the cord 88 between the front edges 112 of the sleeve of the jaw 108 and the edge of the opening 110 of the cord guide 106 is clamped (clamping position), so that a pulling or shortening of the cord loop 92 is blocked.

At one end of the clamping jaw 108 facing away from the cord guide 106, a finger grip 116 is mounted via a flexible coupling tape 114, which has a stiffened, T-shaped construction, so that it forms respective finger contact surfaces 118 and 120 on the T-wings. To pull the cord stopper 104, the finger contact surfaces 118 and 120 can be grasped by two fingers of a hand of the wearer by hooking the fingers around the finger contact surfaces 118, 120. Alternative forms of grip, such as a ring or a thickening, are also conceivable.

To close the second rear pocket 74, the wearer of the ski vest 10 pulls on the cord loop in approximately one direction of the sleeve axis of the jaw 108 (arrow A in FIG Fig. 2 ). In this case, the cord loop 92 sets around the front edge 112 of the sleeve of the jaw 108, so that in the pulling operation of the jaws 108 is taken against the force of the clamping spring and pulled away from the fixed cord guide 106 to the cord loop 92 for displacement by the cord guide 106th release. The cord loop 92 is then pulled out to the desired extent so that the pocket opening 76 closes.

To open the pocket opening 76 of the finger grip 116 is taken and also in the direction of arrow A in Fig. 2 pulled, so that the jaw 108 lifts from the fixed in the direction of draw A cord guide 106.
