Device for connecting ski poles The invention relates to a device for connec tion of ski poles which can be operated easily and quickly without cumbersome handles.
In the known ski poles, a strap with a buckle is attached to one of the two poles for the purpose of connecting them to one another, which strap is placed around the second pole and held with its free end in the buckle. Wrapping the belt around a stick and threading it into the buckle is cumbersome with gloves on, especially if your fingers have become stiff from the cold.
To avoid this disadvantage, two interlocking, in the engaged position together menhaltende and easily separable connecting parts are provided on the two associated ski poles according to the invention.
As such connec tion, for example, a push-button connection is possible, with a locking pin on the side of the handle of one ski pole and a recess on the opposite side of the handle of the second ski pole, in which the locking pin engages. In another design, the connection is made by claws which are inserted into corresponding profile grooves on the other handle. Another embodiment of the invention is that the connection parts, for. B.
Locking pin and recess are arranged on approaches of the handles, which protrude laterally and serve to support the hands of the skier.
In the drawing, three exemplary embodiments of the ski poles according to the invention are shown. There show Fig. 1 the handle parts of a pair of ski poles with horizontally insertable locking parts in side view, Fig. 2 the handle parts of a further embodiment of a ski pole pair with push-button-like locking parts that can be closed from top to bottom and FIGS. 3 and 4 the handle parts of a pair of ski sticks vertically insertable locking parts in side view and top view.
In the embodiment of the ski poles according to Fig. 1, each handle 1 is provided at the lower end with a laterally from standing approach 2, of which the approach of one handle carries a bolt 3 which is reinforced in the manner of a push button at its end, while the other Approach has a recess 4 receiving the bolt 3,
whose input-side end is constricted and thus allows the insertion and withdrawal of the bolt 3 only after initially overcoming a resistance caused by the elastic compression of the bolt end and the elastic widening of the entrance of the recess. The approaches 2 have an upper flattening from 5, on which the skier can use his hand when using stick.
The hand loops 6 are designed as with the usual handles for ski sticks.
In order to be able to remove any snow that may have penetrated the recess 4, it can merge into a downwardly discharging slot through which the snow is pressed out when the bolt 3 is inserted into the recess 4. Such a slot facilitates the widening of the inlet opening of the recess 4 when inserting the bolt 3 and can be extended upwards for this purpose, especially if the grip material is less elastic.
Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of a pushbutton-like connection, in which one hand gripped the front with a pushbutton 3 "pointing, vertically protruding tape 9 and the other in the end face with a corresponding recess 4" for inserting the Push button 3 "is seen. In the case of plastic handles, the band 9 can be made from one piece with the handle.
In the embodiment of the handles according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a claw 3 'and a perpendicular right groove 4' are provided in place of the snap button-like snapping parts 3 and 4, into which the claw is inserted from above. The connection is achieved through correct profiling of the groove and the claw.
For this purpose, the claw 3 'has a T-shaped cross section and is inserted into the corresponding T-shaped perpendicular groove 4'.
The connection according to the invention enables an easy and quick connection or separation of the two ski poles from one another.
