Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen von Dünnbrammen, deren Querschnitt während der Erstarrung reduziert wird, in einer Stranggiessanlage, deren sich der Kokille anschliessende Strangführung der Dickenänderung des Stranges bzw. der Dünnbramme keilförmig anstellbare Rollenabschnitte bzw. Strangabschnitte aufweist, wird die Strangdicke nur an einer Stelle der Strangführung unterhalb des der Kokille folgenden ersten Segmentes in einem Bereich des einen flüssigen Kern aufweisenden Stranges durch Keilanstellung der dortigen Strangführungsrollen mit weichem Übergang verringert. Ein dem der Kokille (2) unmittelbar nachgeschalteten Segment (3) folgendes Segment (4) weist hierzu einlaufseitig einen Drehpunkt (14) und auslaufseitig angeordnete Stellmittel (12) auf.
