Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un alcool représenté par la formule générale (IIa), dans laquelle R?1a' et R2a'¿ représentent chacun hydrogène, un résidu organique ou un groupe formé par réduction du résidu organique, à condition que R?1a' et R2a'¿ soient liés l'un à l'autre pour former un groupe cyclique éventuellement substitué. Ledit procédé consiste à réduire un composé représenté par la formule générale (Ia) (dans laquelle R?1a et R2a¿ représentent chacun hydrogène ou un résidu organique, à condition que R?1a et R2a¿ soient liés l'un à l'autre pour former un groupe cyclique éventuellement substitué), en présence d'un complexe de métaux de transition contenant un composé α-aminocarboxamide en tant que liant, d'une base et d'un composé donneur d'hydrogène.
