本発明は、 肌面側シートの端部からの尿等の滲み出しを効果的に、 かつコスト 安に防止できる使い捨ておむつに関する。 背景技術
従来、 使い捨ておむっとしては、 撥水性を有する外面側シートと親水性を有す る不織布製の肌面側シートとの間に吸収体が設けられ、 上記肌面側シートの両側 に撥水性を有する立上がり帯材が設けられ、 この立上がり帯材は、 内側縁に立上 がり用弾性糸が添設され、 外側縁が肌面側シートに接着されているものがある。 上記使い捨ておむつでは、 立上がり帯材の立上がり用弾性糸による立体ギヤザ 一によつて尿等が横漏れしないようになっている。
しかしながら、 肌面側シートは親水性を有するために、 この肌面側シートに尿 等が浸透すると、 浸透した尿等が肌面側シートの端部から滲み出して衣服を汚す おそれがあるという問題があつた。
このため、 外面側シートの端部を、 肌面側シートの端部をくるみ込むように巻 き上げて肌面側シートの上面に接合することにより、 肌面側シ一トの端部から尿 等が滲み出しても、 巻き上げた外面側シートにより衣服を汚さないようにしたも のが提案されているが、 外面側シートの端部の巻き上げ工程が必要となってコス ト高になるという問題がある。
本発明は、 上記従来の問題を解決するためになされたもので、 肌面側シートの 端部からの尿等の滲み出しを効果的に、 かつコスト安に防止できる使い捨ておむ つを提供することを目的とするものである。 発明の開示
本発明は、 撥水性外面側シートと親水性を有する不織布製の肌面側シートとの 間に吸収体が設けられ、 上記肌面側シートの両側に撥水性を有する不織布製の立 上がり帯材が設けられ、 この立上がり帯材は、 内側縁に立上がり用弾性糸が添設 され、 外側縁が肌面側シートに接着されている使い捨ておむつにおいて、 上記肌面側シートの端部に尿等の滲み出し防止部が形成されていることを特 徴とする使い捨ておむつを提供するものである。
本発明によれば、 親水性を有する肌面側シートの端部に、 尿等の滲み出し防止 部が形成されているから、 肌面側シートに尿等が浸透しても、 浸透した尿等が肌 面側シートの端部から滲み出さなくなる。 図面の簡単な説明

第 2図に示すように、 使い捨ておむつは、 基本的には、 外面側シート 1と、 吸 収体 2と、 肌面側シート 3と、 左右一対の立上がり帯材 4とで構成されている。 上記外面側シート 1は、 撥水性を有する合成樹脂繊維製不織布又は合成樹脂製 フィルムで成形され、 前腹部 Pと後背部 Qとの間の股部 Rの両側には脚穴部 Sが 形成されている。
上記外面側シート 1の前腹部 Pと後背部 Qの上面には、 幅方向に伸長状態で複 数本のウェスト用弾性糸 5がそれぞれ添設されていると共に、 両側の脚穴部 Sの 上面には、 長さ方向に伸長状態で複数本のレツグ用弹性糸 6がそれぞれ添設され ている。
また、 外面側シ一ト 1の前腹部 Pの下面にはフロンタルテープ 7が取付けられ ると共に、 後背部 Qの外面側シート 1と肌面側シート 3若しくは立上がり帯材 4 との間の両側には、 第 4図に示すように、 使用時にフロンタルテープ 7に貼付け て、 使い捨ておむつを立体的に組み立てるためのファスニングテープ 8がそれぞ れ取付けられている。
上記吸収体 2は、 天然パルプ繊維、 合成樹脂繊維や高吸水性樹脂材料などを混 合又は積層したもので、 上記外面側シート 1よりも一回り程度小さい略長方形状 の扁平体に成形されて外周が薄葉紙で包み込まれている。 この吸収体 2は、 外面 側シート 1の上面に接着される。
上記肌面側シート 3は、 親水性を有する合成樹脂繊維製不織布で成形され、 上 記外面側シート 1と同じ外形状に形成されて、 この肌面側シ一ト 3の下面と上記 外面側シート 1の上面とは、 吸収体 2とウェスト用弹性糸 5とレッダ用弾性糸 6 とを介装した状態でほぼ全面接着される。 なお、 肌面側シート 3は、 両脚孔部 S の間の内幅を有する長方形状であってもよい。
上記左右一対の立上がり帯材 4は撥水性を有する合成樹脂繊維製不織布で成 形され、 上記外面側シート 1及び肌面側シート 3とほぼ同じ長さを有すると共に、 脚穴部 Rに相当する部分には同形状の脚穴部が形成されている。
この各立上がり帯材 4は、 内側縁 4 aが下向き内側に折り返されていて、 この 内側縁 4 aが吸収体 2の上面両側を覆い、 外側縁 4 の下面が肌面側シ一ト 3の 上面に接着される。
上記各立上がり帯材 4の内側縁 4 aには、 立上がり帯材 4のほぼ全長に亘つて 立上がり用弾性糸 9が伸長状態で添設されている。
上記各弹性糸 5 , 6， 9は、 帯状や糸状の天然ゴム又は合成ゴムであり、 各弾 性糸 5， 6 , 9の収縮力でウェスト用ギャザー、 レッダ用ギャザー、 立上がり用 ギャザーが自然に形成されるようになる。
本発明は、 上記親水性を有する肌面側シート 3の端部に、 尿等の滲み出し防止 部が設けられているところに最大の特徴を有する。 この滲み出し防止部の一例は、 第 3図 （a ) に示すように、 肌面側シート 3の端部にホットメルト接着剤等の接 着剤を塗布して、 不織布の繊維間の空隙に接着剤を浸透させて形成される撥水化 部 1 0である。 この構成の場合は、 肌面側シートは熱可塑性樹脂繊維から形成さ れる不織布でなくてもよい。
または、 第 3図 （b ) に示すように、 肌面側シート 3の端部をヒートシールす ることにより、 不織布の繊維間の空隙を潰してフィルム化させた第 1フィルム化 部 1 1 aを形成することにより、 尿等の滲み出し防止処理を行ってもよい。 この 構成の場合は、 肌面側シート 3は、 ヒートシールの熱によって、 繊維が融着して フィルム化する必要があるので、 熱可塑性樹脂繊維製不織布を用いる。 ただし、 肌面側シート 3用の不織布は、 ヒートシールによってフィルム化する程度の熱可 塑性を有していればよく、 不織布を構成する繊維の全てが熱可塑性樹脂繊維であ る必要はなく、 熱可塑性を有しない繊維が混合されていても構わない。 なお、 ヒ —トシ一ルに変えて超音波溶着手段を採用してもよい。
さらに、 第 3図 （c ) に示すように、 肌面側シート 3と外面側シート 1の各端 部をヒートシールで接合して、 少なくとも肌面側シート 3の不織布の繊維間の空 隙を潰すことによって第 1のフィルム化部 1 1 cを形成してもよい。 外面側シー ト 1は撥水性を有する素材で形成されているので、 肌面側シート 3のフィルム化 によって透水性を失わせることにより、 滲み出し防止部が形成される。 外面側シ —ト 1が不織布の場合、 フィルムの場合、 いずれにおいても、 肌面側シート 3と 共に、 前記したような熱可塑性の素材であることが好ましい。 ヒートシールで簡 単に両者を接合しながらヒートシール部分をフィルム化することができる。 第 3図 （b ) に示すように、 第 1フィルム化部 1 1 aよりも内側で立上がり帯 材 4と肌面側シー卜 3とをヒートシールで接合しながらフィルム化させること によって、 第 2フィルム化部 1 l bを形成してもよい。 立ち上がり帯材 4と肌面 側シ一ト 3それぞれの不織布の繊維間の空隙が潰されると共に、 両者が接合して フィルム化部 1 l bが形成される。 この構成によれば、 滲み出し防止が 2段階で 行われ、 尿等の漏れ防止に一層効果的である。
また、 第 3図 （c ) に示すように、 第 1フィルム化部 1 1 cよりも内側で立上 がり帯材 4と肌面側シート 3とをヒートシールで接合して、 第 2のフィルム化部 1 I dを形成してもよい。 なお、 第 1フィルム化部を肌面側シート 3と立上がり 帯材 4とで形成し、 第 2のフィルム化部を肌面側シ一ト 3と外面側シート 1とで 形成してもよい。
上記肌面側シート 3の端部のホットメルト接着剤による撥水化部 1 0、 ヒート シールによるフィルム化部 1 1 a， 1 1 cは、 第 1図及び第 2図に二点鎖線で示 すように、 肌面側シート 3の全周囲にわたるのが、 尿等の漏れ防止の観点から好 ましい。 上記のように構成した使い捨ておむつにおいては、 親水性を有する肌面側シー ト 3の端部に、 尿等の滲み出し防止処理のための撥水化部 1 0やフィルム化部 1 1 a , 1 1 cを形成してあるため、 肌面側シート 3に尿等が浸透しても、 浸透し た尿等が肌面側シート 3の端部から滲み出さなくなるので、 衣服を汚すおそれが なくなる。
また、 従来のように、 外面側シート 1の端部を、 肌面側シート 3の端部をくる み込むように巻き上げる必要がなくなるので、 外面側シート 1の端部の巻き上げ 工程が必要となってコスト安になる。
さらに、 外面側シート 1と肌面側シ一ト 3と立上がり帯材 4の各外端縁を揃え ることができるから、 製造時に重ねたときの位置ずれも防止できるようになる。 なお、 立上がり帯材 4と肌面側シート 3とをヒートシールで接合して、 第 2の フィルム化部 1 1 b、 l i dを形成すれば、 肌面側シート 3に浸透した尿等がこ の部分よりも外側に滲み出さなくなるので、 尿等の滲み出しがより効果的に防止 できるようになる。
上記実施形態は使い捨ておむつであつたが、 外面側シートに積層された肌面側 シートの上に第 1吸収体を取付けた構成等の使い捨てパンツにも適用できるこ とは言うまでもない。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、 本発明の使い捨ておむつは、 肌面側シートの端部からの尿等の 滲み出しを、 効果的にかつコスト安に防止できる使い捨ておむつあるいは使い捨 てパンツとして有用である。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 撥水性外面側シ一トと親水性を有する不織布製の肌面側シートとの間に吸収 体が設けられ、 上記肌面側シートの両側に撥水性を有する不織布製の立上がり帯 材が設けられ、 この立上がり帯材は、 内側縁に立上がり用弾性糸が添設され、 外 側緣が肌面側シートに接着されている使い捨ておむつにおいて、
上記肌面側シートの端部に、 尿等の滲み出し防止部が形成されていることを特 徵とする使い捨ておむつ。
2 . 上記滲み出し防止部が、 肌面側シートの端部にホットメルト接着剤を塗布し て浸透させてなる撥水化部である請求の範囲第 1項に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
3 . 上記滲み出し防止部が、 前記不織布製の肌面側シートの端部をヒートシール して不織布の繊維間の空隙を潰すことによってフィルム化されたフィルム化部 である請求の範囲第 1項に記載の使い捨ておむつ。
4. 上記滲み出し防止部が、 前記不織布製の肌面側シートと外面側シートの各端 部をヒートシールで接合しながら、 肌面側シートの不織布の繊維間の空隙を潰す ことによりフィルム化されたフィルム化部である請求の範囲第 1項に記載の使 い捨ておむつ。
5 . 上記フィルム化部よりも内側で上記立上がり帯材と肌面側シー卜とをヒート シールで接合しながら、 立上がり帯材と肌面側シートそれぞれの不織布の繊維間 の空隙を潰すことによりフィルム化された第 2のフィルム化部が形成されてい るものである請求の範囲第 2〜4項のいずれかに記載の使い捨ておむつ。
