Definitions
- the invention relates to a slat blind in which the slats are pivotally suspended by means of ladder-like carrying cords on a housing having a floor and side walls and in which an end rail is connected by means of elevator cords to a winding shaft which serves to wind up the elevator cords and which ensures a trouble-free operation Winding up and unwinding the elevator cords axially when rotating, the carrying cords are fastened to bearing devices, each having a sleeve pushed onto the winding shaft, which sleeves are secured against axial displacement in the bearing device and rotate with the winding shaft to pivot the slats.
- a slat blind of this type is known for example from CH-A-400 816.
- these slat blinds have proven their worth many times over.
- the slats can be moved vertically by means of the elevator cords and pivoted by means of the carrying cords for opening and closing the slat blind.
- the assembly of these slat blinds is comparatively complex. This is due in particular to the fact that the carrying cords and the elevator cords must each be attached to one of the bearing devices at their upper end.
- the individual sleeves are each pushed onto the shaft with a support arm. The shaft is then inserted into the bearing shell, taking care to ensure that the sleeves come to rest in the bearing grooves.
- the ladder-like support cords and the elevator cords are only attached to the shaft or to the support arm when the shaft is in the bearing shell.
- CH-A-408 694 shows a similar slat blind.
- attaching the carrying cords and the elevator cords is a very time-consuming assembly work.
- the ladder-like carrying cords are each fastened to a winding drum with a holding part. This drum is then inserted into a box-shaped part from above.
- This assembly work is not only time-consuming, but also requires a relatively high level of manual skill.
- the invention has for its object to provide a slat blind of the type mentioned, which is easier and faster to assemble and which is still reliable.
- the object is achieved in a generic slat blind in that the bottom or side walls of the housing have openings through which the bearing devices are inserted into the housing mentioned. It is essential for the invention that the carrying cords and the elevator cords can be attached to the bearing devices before they are mounted.
- the storage devices can be fully assembled with the carrying cords and the elevator cords.
- the bearing devices are then inserted into the housing through the openings mentioned.
- the storage devices are therefore not inserted through an end opening or from the top of the housing as before, but through an opening in the bottom or in a side wall of the housing. The direction of insertion is thus transverse to the longitudinal direction of the housing.
- the mounting of the bearing devices is particularly simple if the openings are arranged in the bottom of the housing.
- Latching means are preferably attached to the bearing devices, with which the bearing devices can each be latched at the edge of one of the openings mentioned. The bearing devices can then be inserted into the housing very quickly and easily without tools and releasably attached to the housing.
- FIG. 1 shows a three-dimensional view of a slat blind according to the invention, parts being pulled apart for reasons of drawing,
- FIG. 2 shows a spatial representation of the housing and the parts stored therein, these being pulled apart for drawing reasons
- FIG. 3 shows the parts of FIG. 2, but in the installed state
- FIG. 4 shows a spatial representation of individual and pulled-apart parts of the slat blind according to the invention
- Figure 5 shows schematically the insertion of a bearing device in a housing shown in sections
- FIG. 6 shows a partial section through a variant of the slat blind according to the invention.
- the slat blind 1 has a housing 10 which is approximately U-shaped in cross section and which is to be fastened, for example, to a building wall (not shown here) in a horizontal orientation.
- the housing 10 consists, for example, of an aluminum profile and has a base 8 and two parallel side walls 9.
- insert bearing devices 6 which receive a shaft 5 and which preferably have a plurality of horizontally oriented openings wear flexible slats 2.
- Elevator cords 4 are each connected to an end rail 2a at a lower end and to the winding shaft 5 at an upper end 4a.
- the elevator cords 4 can be wound up and down and thus the end rail 2 can be raised and lowered.
- ladder-like carrying cords 3 are connected to the end rail 2a and the slats 2.
- Two strands 3a, of which only one is shown in FIG. 1, are each connected at their upper end and lie in a guide groove 18 (FIG. 4) of a sleeve 7 which is connected to the winding shaft 5 in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the friction between the sleeves 7 and the elevator cords 4 is so great that the slats 2 can be pivoted to a limited extent in one direction or the other by rotating the sleeves 7.
- a threaded bolt 27 is inserted into the housing 10 and fastened to it with a holding part 27a.
- a threaded pin 20 is screwed onto the bolt 27, which has an internal thread 20a and which is inserted non-rotatably into one end of the winding shaft 5.
- the other end of the winding shaft 5 also rotatably receives a further pin 19 which has a hexagonal passage 19a for receiving a hexagonal rod 21.
- This hexagonal rod 21 is connected to a drive 28 which is inserted into one end of the housing 10 and which has a ball chain 29 or another endless drive element. By pulling on the ball chain 29, the hexagonal rod 21 and thus the winding shaft 5 can be rotated in one direction or the other.
- the winding shaft 5 is moved against the holding part 27a or away from it. This axial displacement enables a trouble-free winding of the elevator cords 4 onto the winding shaft 5.
- the connection of the elevator cords 4 to the winding shaft 5 takes place by means of fastening parts 22 which are each engaged in a groove 5a of the winding shaft 5 and to which one end 14a of an elevator cord 4 is fastened, for example clamped.
- the bearing devices 6 each consist of a bearing shell 6, a sleeve 7 and a guide part 17. These three parts are preferably made of plastic as injection molded parts and are detachably locked together.
- the sleeve 7 has an integrally formed cam 23 which engages in the groove 5a and forms a driver. On the outside, the sleeve 7 has the above-mentioned guide groove 18 and parallel to it a wider groove 24 (FIG. 4) into which two elastic bearing arms 16a shown in FIG. 2 engage. These bearing arms 16a form a semicircular bearing surface 16b for the sleeve 7.
- the sleeve 7 is preferably snapped onto the bearing shell 16.
- the guide part 17 has two arms 17a and a tab-shaped protruding projection 17b. The guide part 17 covers the sleeve 7 in some areas and prevents the tracting cord 3 from sliding out of the guide groove 18 at its upper area.
- FIG. 5 shows the three parts 7, 16 and 17 in the assembled state.
- the carrying cord 3 lies with its upper end in the guide groove 18 and is guided with two horizontally extending and parallel arms 25 of the bearing shell 16. Between these arms 25 there is a guide part 26 for the elevator cord 4.
- the assembly of the slat blind according to the invention is explained below.
- the two strands 3 a / are connected to one another at their upper end and the loop formed in this way is inserted into the guide groove 18 of the sleeve 7.
- the sleeve 7 is then snapped onto the bearing shell 16.
- the upper end 4a of the elevator cord 4 is pulled through the guide opening of the guide part 26 and the part 22 is connected to the end 4a. This process is repeated for all storage devices 6.
- the bearing devices 6 are now mounted in accordance with FIG. 5. According to FIG. 5, they are now inserted into the housing 9 through the openings 11 in the direction of the arrow 29 and are preferably latched.
- Elastic latching tongues 14 are attached to the bearing shells 16 as latching means, which latch on an edge 15 of the housing 9.
- the two arms 25 each lie on the inside against the opposite edge 15a of the housing 9. If the bearing devices 6 are mounted, the winding shaft 5 is provided with the pins 20 and 19 and inserted into the housing 10 in the longitudinal direction. Now the fastening parts 22 are inserted into the groove 5a and the threaded bolt 27 and the drive 28 are mounted with the hexagonal rod 21.
- the assembly is now complete and the slat blind 1 can be attached to a building wall, for example.
- FIG. 6 differs from the one described above by the design of the bearing shell 16 '. In its lower area, this has a spring-elastic molded locking tongue 30 and a locking lip 31.
- the latching tongue 30 and the latching lip 31 run parallel to one another.
- the locking lip 31 engages under the opening 11, while the locking tongue 30 flies to the inside with a shoulder 32.
- This embodiment enables a particularly simple and secure latching into the housing 10.
