Definitions

  • the invention relates to a slat blind in which the slats are pivotally suspended by means of ladder-like carrying cords on a housing having a floor and side walls and in which an end rail is connected by means of elevator cords to a winding shaft which serves to wind up the elevator cords and which ensures a trouble-free operation Winding up and unwinding the elevator cords axially when rotating, the carrying cords are fastened to bearing devices, each having a sleeve pushed onto the winding shaft, which sleeves are secured against axial displacement in the bearing device and rotate with the winding shaft to pivot the slats.
  • a slat blind of this type is known for example from CH-A-400 816.
  • these slat blinds have proven their worth many times over.
  • the slats can be moved vertically by means of the elevator cords and pivoted by means of the carrying cords for opening and closing the slat blind.
  • the assembly of these slat blinds is comparatively complex. This is due in particular to the fact that the carrying cords and the elevator cords must each be attached to one of the bearing devices at their upper end.
  • the individual sleeves are each pushed onto the shaft with a support arm. The shaft is then inserted into the bearing shell, taking care to ensure that the sleeves come to rest in the bearing grooves.
