Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de guidage (20) placé le long de bords de routes (13, 14), de préférence dans des tunnels. Ce système présente des éléments de guidage ainsi que des éléments d'appui (30), ancrés dans le sol et maintenant ces derniers. Ces éléments de guidage sont formés par des éléments rouleaux (21, 22) juxtaposés de manière coaxiale, montés de manière à pouvoir tourner au niveau des éléments d'appui (30) et placés au-dessus de la surface de chaussée (11) à une distance correspondant approximativement à la moitié du diamètre des roues des véhicules (18). Ce système accroît considérablement la sécurité de véhicules heurtant le bord de la route. En effet, ces éléments de guidage constitués d'éléments rouleaux permettent d'amortir le choc d'un véhicule venant en contact avec eux, car ce sont en général les roues du véhicule qui touchent en premier ces éléments de guidage. De plus, la rotation des éléments rouleaux lors du contact du véhicule (18) avec ces derniers assure en quelque sorte un guidage du véhicule en mouvement.
