The ring 3 is thus immobilized axially on the neck 2a while being able to rotate relative to the latter.
- the arms 4 are, as shown more particularly in FIGS. 1 to 4 and 8, inscribed in the thickness of the ring 3 and individualized by recesses arranged in this thickness. It follows that the ring 3 has, at the base of these arms 4, a portion 3a of height less than the height it has in the other locations of its circumference. This lower height, combined with the aforementioned clearance, allows a certain deformation of the ring 3 in the circumferential direction as will be described later.
- the ring 3 further comprises portions 3b of increased thickness or studs 3c, to support the plug 6 and the arms 4 in the event of heavy loads exerted on the latter.

- the plug 6, once in the position shown in Figure 4, can be tilted into the position shown in Figure 8, thanks to the film hinges 5 and by rolling and deformation of the tongue 21 against the neck 2a.
- This tongue 21 allows the plug 6 to be "bi-stable" between the positions shown in FIGS. 4 and 8, which allows attractive manipulation of the device 1.
- the invention thus provides a closure device making it possible to remedy the drawbacks of homologous devices of the prior art since it can be placed on any type of container, in particular containers for current use, produced in large series, such as bottles of mineral water, the operation of placing the device can be accomplished mechanically and at high speed; this device is also easy to handle with regard to opening and closing the container, ensures reliable retention of the stopper on the container, is inexpensive to manufacture and place on the container and has an attractive visual appearance. .
