  • induction heating it is only the heat generating part (where the eddy currents are set up) which really gets hot, and it is completly unproblematic to provide the circuit and controls in a part of the cooking vessel, such as in the handle, a space which is not at a temperature much higher than room temperature. This is in opposition to traditional heating methods where the whole cooking vessel (and part of the space above it) is heated.

  • the transmission of control information from the cooking vessel to the cooktop occurs via infrared radiation. This is natural to use in an remote control environment as components and circuits are readily available.

Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un ustensile de cuisson, qui est conçu pour être utilisé avec des dessus de cuisinières à chauffage par induction et qui contient par exemple dans son manche tous les éléments à manipuler pour commander le chauffage par induction. On obtient la source d'alimentation en convertissant le rayonnement ELF utilisé pour chauffer l'ustensile de cuisson, et les boutons de commande, les capteurs de température et les moyens de transmission destinés au régulateur de puissance pour les serpentins à induction sont tous adaptés dans le manche. On crée ainsi une fonctionnalité de chauffage par induction encore jamais atteinte.
