Un trépan aléseur (T) comporte un premier bord tranchant (3) conçu pour l'usinage de finition d'une surface périphérique interne d'un trou traversant (H) dans une pièce à travailler (W), et un deuxième et un troisième bord tranchant (5, 6), situés au niveau de parties étagées (41, 42) à la fin d'une partie de diamètre réduit (4) formée par découpe du premier bord tranchant (3), et destinés au chanfreinage respectif des premier et second bords ouvrants (H1, H2) du trou traversant. Après l'usinage de finition de la surface périphérique interne du trou traversant (H) avec le premier bord tranchant (3) par rotation du trépan aléseur (T) autour de son axe (Lt), le premier et le second bord ouvrant (H1, H2) sont chanfreinés par les deuxième et troisième bords tranchants (5, 6), par déplacement respectif du trépan aléseur (T) le long d'un cercle dont le centre est l'axe (Lw) du trou traversant (H) et qui possède un rayon r.
