Abstract
La présente invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs permettant de réguler la transformation d'un hydrocarbure en acide en procédant à des ajustements de phase. Afin d'améliorer la vitesse de réaction et la réactivité de l'oxydation, on parvient à une phase unique à la température opératoire, phase que l'on maintient en ajustant la vitesse d'écoulement de l'oxydant gazeux et/ou la pression de la zone de réaction, la température de la zone de réaction, la vitesse d'alimentation en hydrocarbure, la vitesse d'alimentation en solvant, la vitesse d'alimentation en eau s'il y en a, la vitesse d'alimentation en catalyseur et d'autres paramètres. On décrit également des procédés et des dispositifs dans lesquels on met à réagir un hydrocarbure à l'état stable avec un oxydant gazeux pour former un acide dans un mélange liquide. La quantité d'eau est maintenue entre un niveau d'eau maximal, au-dessus duquel la phase liquide sensiblement unique se transforme en deux phases liquides, et un niveau d'eau minimal, en-dessous duquel le catalyseur se précipite. On décrit en outre des procédés selon lesquels on abaisse la température du mélange à un niveau auquel le diacide solide est précipité, tout en conservant une seule phase liquide et, facultativement, tout le catalyseur dans la solution. On enlève ensuite au moins une partie de l'acide formé. L'hydrocarbure préféré est le cyclohexane, l'acide préféré est l'acide adipique, le solvant préféré est l'acide acétique et la catalyseur préféré est le tétrahydrate d'acétate de cobalt (II).
