Definitions

  • condoms have become increasingly important as the most important means of preventing aias. Accordingly, condoms themselves are now available in a wide variety.
  • the packaging only offers inadequate protection against material-damaging climatic influences and mechanical damage, especially if it is transported in your pocket or wallet without further cardboard packaging.
  • the medical, lust-inhibiting appearance of classic film packaging counteracts the further spread of this important AIDS prevention agent.
  • the invention therefore relates to a condom packaging, which is characterized by the following points.
  • Claim 1 states that the condom is under a film made of plastic, aluminum or the like. is located, which is welded or glued to the edge with a base on which the condom lies flat. Because the film has a free nipple projecting beyond the welded edge, it can easily be removed.
  • the underlay can itself be a film, but then it must also have a nipple to hold onto when opening (flexible variant, claim 3). It is cheaper to manufacture the base from a solid material, for example plastic (dimensionally stable variant claim 4), which can be better held open.
  • Claim 2 relates to the clear alignment of the condom in the pack. Since a rolled-up condom, especially in the dark, can hardly be seen how it should be placed on the penis for rolling, the packaging must clearly indicate the orientation of the condom. In the case of the dimensionally stable variant, it is sufficient, for example, to print on the film that the side facing the film must always be pushed onto the penis. With the fiexibian variant The upper and lower film can have a different color, surface or shape (e.g. differently shaped nipples), with an imprint on the correct application h ⁇ nwe ⁇ s ⁇ . As a further variant, the condom seiDST can have a color marking or special surface on a side indicates correct alignment.
  • Claim 5 states that the pack contains at least two condoms and therefore there is always a reserve condom. Because the pack is composed of at least two separable, identical parts, the empty part can be replaced by a new one, so that a complete pack is again available Also available are condom or lubricant-filled parts that can be combined as required (see claim 10).
  • Claim 6 relates to the connection of the packaging point.
  • the condoms In order to ensure that the condoms are protected from the outside in the package, they must be in a recess in the packaging so that the cover film pulls flat over them.
  • the described arrangement of the two halves ensures that the cover foils are protected from damage during transport. So that the two halves are separable, they are connected by a plug-in connection, for example, each half having a pin and a hole on the edge, which engage in the respective counterpart of the opposite half.
  • Claim 7 relates to an alternative, fixed connection of the package halves, although not replacing the emptied part, however, may allow easier production and handling.
  • Claim 8 indicates a special security feature compared to conventional film packaging. Because the outward-facing packaging area is made of a material that cannot be damaged by pointed objects or other mechanical influences, the condom packaged in this way can be transported without the otherwise usual cardboard sleeve. Plastic is the most suitable material, but in terms of recycling, both the solid outer shell and the thin cover film should be made of the same material Claim 9 relates to a possibility of additionally protecting the condom from climatic influences, which is particularly important in hot countries.
  • Claim 10 relates to a special application form of condom packaging.
  • the invented package is also suitable for packing lubricants. This is of great importance, since in the absence of suitable (water-containing) lubricants unsuitable oil-containing substances (creams, massage oils) are often used which attack the condom.
  • Claim 1 1 refers to the color structure of the condom packaging. Both the outer shell and the cover foils can be colored or printed in different ways. The consumer can combine different halves of color himself (separable halves, see claim 5). The designs can also indicate different types of condoms (shape, color, taste) or lubricants and also always change. This means that condom packaging, instead of the conventional medical or hygiene products that are sold in pharmacies and drugstores, become colorful objects that are available everywhere.
  • Claim 12 means that the packaging takes on the round shape of the condom in the supervision and thus indicates the content and at the same time uses the least material.
  • Claim 14 describes a further embodiment in which the cover foils can be dispensed with and the condom or the condoms are exposed immediately after opening the hinge variant or separating the assembled packaging halves.
  • Claim 13 describes a special embodiment, which is described in more detail below:
  • Fig.4 Enlarged detail of the connection point. 5 cross-section through a half-shell with a counter-shell at the height of the pull-off nipple and the opening incision, see sectional plane 1 in FIG. 1.
  • Figure 1 shows the top view of a half-shell.
  • the condom 3 is in the recess of the half-shell.
  • the recess rises flat on one side as an inclined plane 8 towards the edge 7, so that the condom can be easily pushed out.
  • the cover film is welded on the edge (welding edge 7) and provided on the side on which the condom is to be pushed out of the pack with a nipple 9 for pulling off.
  • the foil has an inscription that indicates the correct orientation of the condom, such as "pull off the foil, put the condom on this side of the penis and roll it off”.
  • the figure also shows the arrangement of the connecting pin 10 and the opposite recess 4, which serves to receive the pin of the counter shell.
  • the course of the contact surface 6 to the opposite half-shell, as well as the sectional planes for Figure 5 (1) and Figure 3 (5) can be seen.
  • Figure 2 shows the side view of the condom packaging.
  • the two round half-shells 1 and 2 in which the condoms are located, are put together and close flush and without gaps at the edge.
  • the opening 3 is visible in the middle.
  • Figure 3 shows a cross section through a half-shell at the level of the connection point. It is important that the contact surface 4 to the opposite half-shell is slightly raised along the entire edge compared to the level of the weld-on edge 3 of the cover film 2 in order to achieve a good edge fit between the two half-shells. Likewise, the connecting pin 1, the incision for the counter pin 5 and the bead of the rolled-up condom 6 can be seen here.
  • FIG. 4 shows an enlarged detail of the cross section through two half shells put together at the height of the connection point.
  • FIG. 5 shows a cross section through a half-shell at the height of the nipple or the opening incision.
  • the edge of the half-shell is chamfered, so that the two half-shells lie one on top of the other and only in a narrow section, while the outside has a gap for opening with the fingernail or fingertip.
  • the recess in which condoms 1 and 5 are located is beveled outwards towards the edge hm (inclined plane 6), so that condom 5 can be easily pushed out of the recess (see bottom arrow).
  • the cover films 2 and 4 are also provided with the pulling nipples 7, which, when the pack is closed, are folded in between the two cover films and are only opened to open them (see both arrows above).
