Abstract

Centre de traitement automatisé multi-usages avec poste de travail en laboratoire pour chimie analytique, possédant une table mobile (28) pour supporter des plaquettes de micro-titrage (27) et d'autres réceptacles de fluides, un bras mobile (44), et un ensemble fonctionnel mobile modulaire (42) fixé, en vue d'un mouvement de va-et-vient, le long du bras (44). Le poste de travail combine, dans un seul système programmable, les capacités d'automatisation d'une large gamme d'opérations bioanalytiques comprenant non seulement le prélèvement d'échantillons à l'aide d'une pipette, la dilution en série, les adjonctions de réactif, le mélange, la mesure des temps de réaction et des opérations manuelles connues similaires, mais également des mesures spectrophotométriques programmables et d'autres paramètres physiques, ainsi que d'autres opérations de traitement sur la base de ces mesures et l'enregistrement automatique des résultats. Le poste de travail est conçu pour transférer, distribuer, et aspirer du liquide depuis un endroit jusqu'à un autre automatiquement et conformément à des instructions programmées par l'utilisateur. Le poste de travail est capable de mesurer les caractéristiques physiques d'échantillons sélectionnés et d'effectuer des analyses expérimentales en circuit fermé conformément à ces mesures. Le fluide est distribué et aspiré à l'aide de modules (52) interchangeables possédant un ou une pluralité choisie d'ajutages (54). Des pointes (56) jetables de dispositifs à pipettes, fixées sur les ajutages des modules, sont ramassées automatiquement par l'ensemble fonctionnel (42) et éjectées par un mécanisme éjecteur (58) de pointes commandé par l'utilisateur. Des modules additionnels peuvent être utilisés pour effectuer des fonctions de mesurage. Le poste de travail est conçu en vue d'un raccordement interactif avec un ordinateur situé à distance.
