Abstract

Un procédé permettant de démonter un pare-brise (1) de véhicule collé sur un châssis ou une carrosserie (13) consiste à faire passer un fil métallique de découpe (3) à travers le joint de colle (2) retenant le pare-brise (1), à appliquer ce fil sur pratiquement toute la longueur du joint de colle (2) à l'extérieur du pare-brise (1) et à le fixer en position de pénétration à travers ledit joint (2). Sur la face inférieure du pare-brise, le fil (3) est tiré par un dispositif de traction (9) fixé sur le pare-brise, et le fil (3) est guidé par rapport au joint de colle à l'aide d'un guide mobile (7), de sorte que le fil fait constamment un angle aigu avec la partie du joint de colle (2) qui est découpé. Un appareil permettant la mise en oeuvre du procédé comprend un fil métallique (3) avec un dispositif d'ancrage (5) à une extrémité (4) et un dispositif de traction (9) à l'autre extrémité, ce dernier se fixant sur le pare-brise (1). L'appareil comprend également un guide mobile (7, 8), fixé sur le pare-brise, pour guider la partie coupante (6) du fil (3) selon un angle aigu par rapport au joint de colle (2).
