Abstract

Compuestos de las fórmulas la Ic: que tienen una estructura lactona y un grupo metileno en la posición alfa de la estructura lactona y métodos para utilizar y elaborar los compuestos. Las lactonas son de utilidad en el tratamiento de trastornos proliferativos incluyendo, por ejemplo, cáncer de mama, cáncer de colon, cáncer rectal, cáncer de estómago, cáncer de pulmón, cáncer de hígado, cáncer de ovario, cáncer de esófago y leucemia.
